Beatrice Lowe is a stereotypical nerd. With straight A's, perfect attendance, and a great career ahead of her, no one, including the whole population of Willow Roads High believed that anything could change that.
That is until she's partnered with local loner Xavier Morgan for a project in Home Ec. They are to take care of a baby doll as part of "The Baby Project".
Beatrice doesn't expect to wake up in the middle of the first night to find an actual baby at her door step. With nothing but a letter asking Bea and Xavier to take care of the infant.
What started out as a friendly project soon turns to chaos when the two find themselves taking care of a real child with real needs.
