We didn’t expect something bad or good in our future. Naks, lakas makafuture. Future ko si Jeron, no just kidding. Hindi ko alam pero hanggang ngayon hindi ako makaget over for what happen last time between me and him. Don’t be green. It’s just a simple kilig moments with Mr. Teng, napakasweet hindi niya ako hinayaang magbayad ng dinner namin kahit talo naman ako sa pustahan. Since when did I felt like this? High School days I think.
“Ano na status niyo?”
“What are you talking about?” I innocently answered. He just asked me about this for the nth time. E, wala naman siya paki kahit single or in a relationship ako.
“So, single ka pa nga?”
“Back to your proper seat, Mr. Jimenez!” Oh gosh. Thanks prof. Bumalik naman si Kyle sa upuan niya, this is why I hate attending this VTech class wala yung dalawang bruha na magbabantay sa akin against Kyle. Tumingin ako kung saan umupo si Kyle at nakita ko naman sobrang lungkot ng mukha niya. Hindi ko na lang pinansin at nakinig na ako sa teacher namin.
“I’ll be assigning two persons who are going to report the next lesson.”
“Laslas mga pre daming projects tapos may reporting pa! Sana hindi ako yun.” Allen shouted, Kyle’s pet I mean friend but I don’t think Kyle treated him as a friend. Everybody started to murmurs.
“Quiet! I’m not asking your opinion, Mr. Benavidez!” Prof. irritably said.
“Hinahigh blood mo si Ma’am eh!” sabay batok na sabi ni Kyle kay Allen. Bumunot naman ng dalawang index card si Prof sa student cards at binasa ito.
“Ms. Rodriquez and Mr. Jimenez.”
“Yes!”
“What?!” Me and Kyle chorused. I gave him a deadly looked and he just smiled. What the hell! Sa dinami-dami ng classmate ko kailangan dito pa?!
“What’s the problem, Ms. Rodriquez?” Prof asks while arranging her things on the table and started walking outside. Kaya kong magreport mag-isa kahit wala ang ugok na ito.
“Kaya ko na po ireport yun kahit na mag-isa ako.” I said while following her.
“No. This is the last topic for this term and kayo na lang ang hindi pa nakakapagreport.” She stopped walking and faces me.
“Don’t worry, if inaalala mo na maapektuhan ang grades mo because of your partner, it’s an individual performance nagbabase ng grades.” She gave me a smile. “By the way, congrats for winning the 1st runner up sa Ms. Thomasian.” I just nodded and she continues to walk.
When I came back to our room I just give to Kyle his part on our report and cleared to him that there’s no partner making about it kaya walang dahilan para maggawa kami nun sa bahay nila na kanina niya pa ini-insist. I knew that tactic.
“Hmm. Huwag mo na alalahanin yung ugok na un,Madds.” Sabi ni Samantha habang andito kami sa labas ng school at nagfofood trip sa barbeque alley. I missed this so much.
“Yeah. Don’t mind him. It’s just a freaking report in Virtual Technique. Yakang-yaka mo yun.” Alex said and offered buko juice to us.
