Behind every angel, there is a demon. Waiting to eat at your soul the second you start to frown. Behind every smile there are tears, waiting to fall the second people aren’t around to see them. Don't get me wrong, everyone has an inner demon. It's just that some are stronger than others. And there's nothing we can do, no pill we can swallow, that can stop them from taking over. The only thing we can do is live our lives, distract ourselves, stop thinking. The only way we can tame our demons is to become numb. Don't think, don't feel any emotions. Because the only thing emotions do is kill you. They make you vulnerable. You can't think. Because thinking too much makes you question. And questioning leads to feeling. And feeling feeds the demon, making it stronger, able to control you faster, and easier. Don't let the plastic smiles fade. Don't let those tears fall. Because they will kill you. Stay numb, don't you dare cry. The demon is always watching. Don't think, don't feel. Everything is okay...
