A boy about 17 years old with raven hair carries a chest made out of wood.

he was crying even though he knows the chest was empty, he had looked for the body for 2 weeks maybe a month he didn't even know because he searched for day and night. he thought about what happened the night before she went away what was the happiest day of this life that would be followed by the saddest day. He saw the image of her falling then he saw greninja trying to rescue her, he never saw either of them again. on his shoulder was a yellow mouse-like pokémon known as Pikachu how was crying as well on the other side of the coffin was a fire type fox it was Braixen the first pokemon Serena was given by professor sycamore. behind the boy was a lady also crying her name was grace it was the mother of Serena and to the odder side of her was a blond boy with glasses it was his friend clemont.

everybody around the grave was talking about how this could happen or was singing a sad song.

when the empty wooden chest started lowering into the grave the boy started to cry even more when he felt a hand grabbing his, he looked up and saw that is was grace next to him who pulled him in for a hug. as ash and grace were crying on each other's shoulders they felt the ribbon-like feelers of sylveon surrounding them and with braixen, pancham, goodra, hawlucha and noivern coming in as well.

it's not your fault ash you couldn't do anything to save her, grace said to ash trying to comfort him but only snubs were heard coming from the boy before he could say. No I should have saved her I wanted to save her but, but.... he gets pulled into the hug once again when grace sat to him. no, don't think like that you did everything you count at the moment.

there were a few seconds of silence before ash said I was her boyfriend I needed to protect her I shout have jumped after her like I did when Pikachu fell down the prism tower she is dead because...... he started to cry even more but the tears wouldn't start coming as he has no tears left to cry.

Grace petted ash on the back when she asked him to come inside.

all the others were insite Shauna, Tierno, Trevor, sawyer, Miette, Bonnie and Clemont as well as a lot of other people he have met on his Kalos journey. he sat with them. everybody was silent as they couldn't say anything other then why serena, when ash felt a paw on his shoulder it was from braixen how became very close to ash in the past weeks.

hi braixen ash said in a sad tone what wrong he asked. braixen pointed to the pokéball of greninja. ash looked at it when braixen asked to have it when ash gave the pokéball to braixen the fire fox pokémon started to go upstairs. ash looked confused to see braixen do that he knew that braixen loved greninja but was still puzzled. when he decited to check op on braixen upstairs in the bedroom of serena where the fire fox pokemon was sitting on the bed sniffing what made the air around braixen very hot when ash saw that braixen made something from the pokéball.

slowly ash knocked on the door asking braixen if he could come in. bai, braixen sat as she nodded slowly

ash sat next to braixen on the bed pikachu climbing of his shoulder as he sat between them.

what are you doing braixen, ash asked the fox pokémon she stood up and hang the pokéball around ash's neck the court on it was long enough to look at the pokéball he opent it en saw what was insite.

ash started crying end hugged braixen thank you he said softly in the ears of the pokémon.

there were 2 pictures inside of greninja's pokéball one of serena and ash at geosenge town where the fond the lucarionite for korrina's lucario, and the outer one was a photo of greninja in his ash-greninja form at the semi-finals of the kalos league.

after a few moments ash feel a hand on his shoulder it was grace her hand.

oh sorry ash said to grace i will come down i just wanted to see her room with braixen.

don't worry about it ash, grace said to him i actually wanted to ask you something.

what thad? ash questioned

do you want to stay here for a little while? grace asked

ash looked up in shock as he answers yes i would like that but why may i ask?

because i cought use someone around here and i like the idea that you stay with me because we both can use someone to help us in this tough time grace said to ash.

ash nodded you're probably right he said.

if you like it you can stay in this room if you want, you can even call professor oak to ask if he will send you your pokémon, you have seen we have a lot of space for the pokémon.

oké grace said to the raven haired boy only one last thing.

will you take care of Serena her Pokémon? grace asked,

of course, i will treat them if they were my own plus they remind me of serena he said so i will treat them if they were Serena herself.

that's good to here ash, grace told him go to sleep you had a rough couple of weeks.

thank you ash said as he yawned and said goodnight to pikachu an braixen and then try sleep.

unfortunately he thought of Serena which made him cry a little, pikachu noticed and came to his trainer and rubbed his cheek against ash's, as he went to sleep....
