Phil's P.O.V
Walking down the street, following the lines a long the pavement, heading towards my favorite café. The city is unusually empty, there is an unknown silence broken once in a while by passing cars. The skies are gray but not dull, unlike the umbrella he was carrying. The forecast predicted rain,so he brought it with him but he just wishes it wasn't fully black,it's so common he wishes it was more colorful. It's silly how such trivial matter gave him anxiety or perhaps he was just tad bit peeved.
He was finally near a bus stop when it began raining not just tear drops it was pouring has if it was an incoming storm.
He got his umbrella nether less he was still cold,he just wanted to get on the bus already but he doesn't think the bus driver cares to arrive early.
His thoughts interrupted by jogging and panting sounds,he turned his head bemused by the- what appeared to be a coffee haired boy, with the tip of hair curling most likely from the rain.
"He's probably gonna get drenched." Phil thought.
"Here,I don't mind sharing." Phil stated, has he held out the umbrella as if to gesture the unnamed man to get under it.
The brunette just snaps his head in Phil's direction, and without thinking ducks under the umbrella with Phil.
"Wow,I probably should've stayed inside my house." The other blurts looking at the sky.
They both just stop and analyze the spoken words, they turned to each other and stared in disbelief.
With out second thought Phil, pulled down the collar of his already v-neck shirt to show him the words engraved on his collarbones. The other carefully read the words and excitingly tugged the sleeve of his coat upwards to show Phil his words.
Phil read them again and again, he just couldn't believe that's just what he said.
They look back at each other.
"Dan" the other exclaims, fondness filling all of his features, Phil feels like he's staring at heaven on earth.
"Phil." It took a minute for him to reply, because had been admiring Dan's features in the rain they were currently covered from.
Dan smiles and Phil returns it with a full grin.
"Well Dan,would you like to go for a cup of coffee?" Phil says quite confident out of nowhere.
"Sure." Dan smiled warmly at him, warmness seeping through his words.
They pulled each other into a tight hug as if they were childhood friends reunited again and held hands has the bus came in late. Thank God it did,and that Dan had not stayed his house, never less without this rain they would have never met.
