Hey, guys.

How are y'all?

I know that I haven't updated any book in a long time but now I am ready. This is a slightly different book. It's dark romance and hope you people like it. Also, beyond the disguise will be updated soon so will the first chapter of this book.

That's it, I guess.

Prologue

I watched him wait for his bride.

Bride.

There will hardly be any bride left after I have my way with her.
Soon. I promised myself. Soon she will be gone and I can have him, all for myself.

I also watched the bride being escorted by her father to the Wagner's march. She looked beautiful, unblemished olive skin, rosy cheeks and lovely pink lips. Too bad, those lips will turn pale soon, just like the rest of her.

The bride stood next to him, waiting for the priest's instructions.

The whole situation was downright comical. Him, getting married, that too in a Church! If I wasn't so angry, I would have laughed at it.

Just as the priest was about to speak, I entered the venue. I sauntered in and all eyes widened, including his. I kept my eyes on him, only on him. Then, his face became blank but I could see the underlying anger and ......... love.

I walked up to him. His dogs standing on high alert next to him. I walk up to him and wrap his tie around my hand and pull him forward. Any normal person would have stumbled with the force I pulled him with. His dogs growled at that movement but turned silent at one motion of his finger.

I let go of his tie and slapped him. Hard, his head whipped to one side while his hair fell on his face, obstructing any view.

The sound resonated in the whole room while people were looking scared, anticipating his reaction. When he lifted his head back and looked at me, I smiled.

His irises were silver with a tint of black, with lips curved into an evil smirk. All traces of the previous emotions gone, replaced with only one thing.

"Hello, love."
