I put on my dress.
"Fuck I'm only 16!" I yelled
I put on my heels and looked at myself in the mirror for the last time. I always dreamed of my wedding day and how my dress would look. I just never tought it would be this soon.
*6 months before*
As soon as I got home from school, I ran into my room and closed the door. I plugged my earphones and started listening to some tøp. Tøp literally gives me life.
"EMILY! ... EMILY ! come downsatirs we need to talk!"
5 minutes later, my door slammed open
"EMILY I told you to ... oh sorry sweetie I didn't know you were listening to music" I saw my dad standing in my doorframe.
"What?" I stopped my music.
"Could you please come downsatirs? Your mother and I would like to talk to you about something"
"Oh yeah of course. I'll be there in a second"
It's so weird how your mood can change in a second, dependig on what people say. For example, just the sentence "we would like to talk to you about something" is freaking me out. I placed my phone on my bed and ran downstairs.
"Wassup fam!?!" I said, jumping on the couch where my mom and my dad were already sitting.
"Emily ... you need to know that we love you" my mom said with a tear running down her cheek.
"What's happening? Mom, dad just tell me"
"Emily ... you ... we decided that ... I can't do it Robert!" My mom said, exploding in tears
"Emily we found you a husband"
"What!?" I chocked.
"Emily you are getting married in 6 months. Your future husband lives in LA so you will move in with him after your wedding"
"But I'm only 16! Why? Do I know him?"
"Emily ... we saw that you are not caring about school anymore, we only want the best for you ... we are doing this for you Emily"
I can't handle this. I ran in my room and cried. I need to talk to someone.
I texted my best friend, Karina:
Em: Karina! 😭 I'm getting married in 6 months!
Rina: Bitch what the fuck?!?
Em: I'm going to marry a random ass dude that lives in LA in 6 months!
Rina: Em !! 😭 I'll be there for you! I'll always be there for you. If he's violent anything , just tell me and I'll buy plane tickets to come smack his little ass!
Em: wow Rina thanks babe 😂 Ilysm 😭💖
