There's a fire starting in my heart
Reaching a fever pitch, it's bringing me out the dark
Finally I can see you crystal clear
[Clean version:] Go 'head and sell me out and I'll lay your ship bare
See how I leave with every piece of you
Don't underestimate the things that I will do
There's a fire starting in my heart
Reaching a fever pitch
And it's bringing me out the dark
The scars of your love remind me of us
They keep me thinking that we almost had it all
The scars of your love, they leave me breathless
I can't help feeling
We could have had it all
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
Rolling in the deep
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
You had my heart inside of your hand
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
And you played it, to the beat
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
Baby, I have no story to be told
But I've heard one on you
And I'm gonna make your head burn
Think of me in the depths of your despair
Make a home down there
As mine sure won't be shared
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
The scars of your love remind me of us
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
They keep me thinking that we almost had it all
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
The scars of your love, they leave me breathless
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
I can't help feeling
We could have had it all
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
Rolling in the deep
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
You had my heart inside of your hand
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
And you played it, to the beat
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
We could have had it all
Rolling in the deep
You had my heart inside of your hand
But you played it, with a beating
Throw your soul through every open door (woah)
Count your blessings to find what you look for (woah)
Turn my sorrow into treasured gold (woah)
You'll pay me back in kind and reap just what you sow (woah)
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
We could have had it all
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
We could have had it all
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
It all, it all, it all
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
We could have had it all
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
Rolling in the deep
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
You had my heart inside of your hand
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
And you played it to the beat
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
We could have had it all
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
Rolling in the deep
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
You had my heart inside of your hand
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
But you played it
You played it
You played it
You played it to the beat.
I finished my song, trying to catch my breathe. I didn't notice that i had closed my eyes. When i opened them i saw more stares than usual. Their mouths were opened and their eyes wide. I just stood there not knowing what to do. I stood there awkwardly when i heard a loud clap followed by another. I turned my head to see Xavier, standing next to his seat and clapping louder. Aaron saw what he was doing so he stood up to, but clapped louder and harder. Xavier saw what that meant so he did the same. Basically they had a little moment when everybody jumped into their little clap battle. Were they clapping for me or for Aaron and Xavier's little battle? They started yelling and shouting my name. Oh. Its for me. I bowed and went back to my seat. Everybody did the same thing. "WOW!! Your mother was right" Mrs.Murphy told me. I just nodded. "Well you shall be singing the lead with dear Mr. Evans" she told me pointing towards Xavier. I widened my eyes. 'WHAT? He can sing?' I asked myself. Or so i thought. Everybody started laughing at my response and Xavier blushed lightly and smirked at me. "Surprisingly so" Mrs Murphy said. "ill put you into the sopranos, if you want to move you can." She informed me. I knew that even though i could sing altos also i went to sit with the higher pitched voices. I sat with them and settled down. The teacher went on about notes when i was reminded about my old school, and how that went. This was going to be just like it and i wasn't looking forward to it. A look into my future from my past.
