Driving Me Crazy (Camren) [On Hiatus]

Lauren sighed loudly as she stared at the couple across from her.

Camila was standing with Shawn at his locker, laughing at something the boy had said.

"Lauren, you need to get over her," Normani said.

"It's not that easy, Mani," Lauren sighed. "I wish I could, but I just can't."

"I know, I just don't want you to get hurt," Normani said as she placed her hand on Lauren's shoulder.

Lauren glanced at the couple one last time, but she instantly regretted it.

Camila's arms were wrapped around Shawn's neck as she kissed him passionately.

"I have to go," Lauren gulped as she quickly shut her locker then ran off.

"Lauren, wait up!" Camila yelled as she ran over to Lauren.

Lauren stopped and turned around to face Camila.

"What do you want, Camila?" Lauren asked.

"I was just wondering if you wanted to hang out at my place later? If you're not doing anything, of course," Camila asked, flashing a smile.

"I don't know," Lauren said uncertainly. "Is Shawn gonna be there?"

"No, it'll be just us, I promise," Camila said.

"Alright, fine," Lauren agreed.

"Yay!" Camila smiled. "I'll see you later?"

"Yeah, of course," Lauren nodded.

"Great," Camila smiled brightly then leaned up to place a soft kiss on Lauren's cheek.

"Bye," Camila waved as she walked away.

Lauren smiled as she stared at the ground.

She couldn't deny it. She was in love with her best friend.

Lauren took a deep breath as she knocked on Camila's door.

Seconds later, the door opened.

"Hey," Camila greeted, smiling brightly.

"Hi," Lauren said, nervously.

"Come in," Camila ordered as she stepped aside to let Lauren in.

"Do you want anything?" Camila asked as she closed the door.

"No, I'm good," Lauren shook her head.

"Okay," Camila said. "Well I actually have to study first, then we can do something. Is that okay?" Camila asked.

"Yeah, that's fine," Lauren said.

"So, what do you want to do?" Lauren asked once Camila had finished studying.

"I was thinking we could watch a movie?" Camila suggested.

"Sure," Lauren shrugged. "What movie?"

"Well I was thinking we could watch Hush? It's one of my favorite movies," Camila said.

"I don't think I've seen that one," Lauren commented. "Is it good?"

"Yes!" Camila exclaimed. "You have to watch it, it's so good."

"Well then let's watch it," Lauren smiled.

"Yay!" Camila said excitedly.

Camila grabbed her laptop and went on Netflix then started the movie.

Halfway during the movie, Camila scooted closer to Lauren and laid her head on her shoulder.

Lauren froze for a moment, then looked down at Camila and immediately smiled. Lauren wrapped her arm around Camila's waist and pulled her closer.

When the movie was over, Lauren sighed and looked at Camila.

"Camila?" Lauren said when she realized that Camila had fallen asleep.

Lauren sighed then leaned down and kissed the top of Camila's head.

"Goodnight, Camila," Lauren whispered, then closed her eyes and slowly fell asleep.
