Background Information

The world wasn't what it was cracked up to be. Not at all. The power went to the government's heads in the late 1990s. They had to be taken down. Nobody knew that they would be taken down with the secret weapon of the SAE (Secret Agents of Earth), also known as the S.A.E corporations. They did it in secret and had some of their agents take the places of those eliminated. The spies, or should I say Metahumans who served as agents, didn't disappoint. Well not until a group of them rose. power and the influence they had on the world was terrifying, leading to the constant and continuous tug of war game between the two sides.

The metahumans were created in the late 20th century. They took orphan Children and basically experimented on them until they had perfected the serum that gave the children powers. Each child reacted differently to the serum, causing each child to have a different power, depending on how they reacted. One of the well known metahumans could teleport. The powers ranged greatly. It's terrible that most of the powerful metahumans left SAE. Especially given the supernatural creatures that the SAE face on regular missions. The few they have at least.
–
The constant power battle between the two sides was exasperating. The AEG (Agent Extirpation Group) and the SAE could be considered an enemy of the state. By law metahumans are illegal. That's why there species is kept a secret and they're secret agents. Duh.
