Today will be different it has to be. I will smile, and it will be believable. My smile will say, "I'm fine, Thank you." "Yes, I feel much better." I will no longer be the sad little boy who lost his parents. I will start fresh, be someone new. It's the only way I'll make it through. I get out of my room and walk downstairs to the kitchen I see my uncle at the table reading his phone while drinking coffee. I hear footsteps coming from the stairs I look back and see my brother Dean heading to the kitchen table to grab his bag. "Dean wai..." as I was about to finish he left me with my words on my mouth "what's wrong with him?" My uncle asks me "I don't know " I said as I grabbed my bag leaving my house. I take out my keys from my pocket and try to open my car as I was about to open the door I hear voices and one of them sounds familiar I turn around and see Dean talking to some strangers they looked quite older than him. But the thing that scared me the most wasn't my brother hanging out with older people but that he was dealing with them and that wasn't who my brother was. I wanted to scream at him so he can get away from them but my body just didn't corporate if I don't stop him I know this would be one of the main things I'll regret. I took a step foward then another step until my body decided to sprint towards them, later my words started to spill in an aggresive tone "Hey Dean!" I shouted they all look at me while Dean tried to close his bag and tell the guys to leave, but I stopped them. "What are you guys doing?" I asked "none of your business" the tall short haired guy wearing a leather jacket said."I'm sorry did I asked you?" I said back giving him a glare he takes a step foward and so did I, but Dean went in middle pushing both of us away. "Dean why don't you tell this idiot to go away ,and mind his own business" the short haired guy with a denim jean jacket said. I look at him thinking that might say "hey back off my brother" ,but I was wrong "leave me and my friends alone Sam. This doesn't involve you." Dean said loud and clear. I look him disappointingly and do what he says i take a step back ,and my body follows leading me to my car. I get into my car and start the engine ,as I pressed the brake to release the gear shift and shift it to the right movement. I look into the rear view mirror and see Dean looking at me I nod disappointingly and drive away remembering this moment of how I decided to back away instead of fighting back to help my brother.
