We all have times of sadness in our lives
We all have days where we are down
But what if those days
Are every day
What if every day we are stricken with fear and grief
How can we possibly live if we aren't alive inside
All we are, are bodies
When life brings us down we are supposed to get back up
But after falling so many times we find it better to stay down in the darkness
Because falling
Time after time
Hurts so much
The darkness becomes our only comfort
And now we are afraid to get back up again
