Raven's POV

"beep" phone ringing.

"Hello? what's the matter now?" Amy is my best friend but she can be really annoying sometimes, like really annoying.

"You're still in bed?" questioned Amy.

"No.........maybe"

"Hurry up schools in 10 minutes"

"Relax that's more than enough time. What did you call me for?"

"I'll tell you at school"

"Fine" I replied

My name is Raven by the way, yes Raven like the bird, its how my parents wanted it and I obviously wasn't around at the time so. I got up and put on my usual outfit which consists of a hoodie and some jeans. I'm not the most popular girl in school so no one ever notices what I'm wearing.

I get to school and as usual, Amy isn't there so I am forced to stand in a corner and pretend that I am doing something interesting on my phone. A few minutes later Amy arrived and by a few minutes later I mean about two very long and boring lessons of geometry I had a free period and was able to talk to her.

"What do you want, and make it quick I only have 5 minutes," I told her in a rush.

"Ok, ok I just wanted to tell you about Sasha's party, it's going to be lit"

"Ok, cool when is it?"

"Today, at 12:00 pm"

"I don't know its a school night, ill ask though"

"we are going to have such cool snap chat stories"

"Ok, ill talk to you later I have to go back to class"

With that said I went back to class I was a freshman in high school and I took my education seriously, but I honestly don't think that going to one high school party will kill me.

After an obnoxiously long day I finally got home and as always I was greeted by my mother.

"How was school," asked my mom.

"It was ok same as usual, by the way, there's this super cool party today at Sasha's house, can I go?"

"Oh, honey you know you cant go on weekdays."

"But why!" I don't know why I screamed.

"because you have school tomorrow and school is important"

"You're ruining the social life I hate you!" I instantly regretted those words once they escaped my mouth. I ran to my room and cried myself to sleep not because I couldn't go to the party but because of the regret, I felt for what I had told my mom the only thing that actually allowed me to sleep that night was the reassurance of waking up tomorrow and apologizing.

"Raven, Raven wake up",

"Mom? mom where are we? I'm so sorry!"

"Shh, relax its ok, its ok, you have to listen to me we don't have much time, you have to help me, please. It's the only way to bring me back!"

"What?"

"There coming hurry up help me"

WTF! that was a messed up dream, why was my mom in the dream? oh well, just a dream.

"Hey, mom! Mom! MOM! Where are you?" did she leave me because of what I said?
