Gerard's P.O.V

Well, my roommate Frank seems cool. He was a little shorter than me, he had short black hair, and he was covered in tattoos and piercings. I couldn't imagine that. I hate needles more than anything else in the world. To think that he wanted them on him.... Eugh. It's nerve-wracking. I shivered at the thought. I had to unpack my things quickly. I was taking my girlfriend Lindsey out for lunch. We had been together for 3 1/2 years. She was a little difficult. She was a drama queen. Literally. She was a theatre major. I loved her but... she was a little too much. I wouldn't mind being single for a while. I just didn't feel the same for her as I used to.

I turned my head a little and saw Frank starring at me. It was awkward.

"Uhh, you ok?" I said awkwardly.

"Uhmm what? oh yeah I'm fine..." he said snapping out of it. I wasn't gonna lie... he was cute. But I wasn't gonna start having feelings for him.

'Snap out of it Gerard' I thought to myself.

"Snap out of what?" Frank said looking confused. Oh shit I said that out loud.

"Oh. Nothing. I gotta go meet up with someone. See ya later dude." And with that, I ran out of the room blushing.

'I hope he didn't notice' I muttered under my breath as I ran to go find Lindsey. Soon I spotted her long silky hair draping over a 'one direction' Tee.

I honestly don't know how we're together. She's pop, I'm punk. She's Gucci, I'm Hot Topic.... Yes I know that statement made me sound really gay but it's true. She likes clubbing, I like watching movies at home. We've been a couple for a while now and we're complete opposites. I'm not sure what I'm going to do....

"Hey Lindsey" I said with a familiar fake smile on my face. I couldn't wait to leave and get back to my dorm.

"Hey babe" she said kissing me in front of all her friends.

She had surrounded herself with bimbo blondes in less that 2 hours. That's a new record.

"So Ashley and Megan are gonna join us for lunch sweetie" she smiled pointing at the blondes.

'Today was gonna be a long day' I muttered.

We went to lunch and the girls all chatted. I suspect I was just there to pay for the meal they neglected. Lindsey ate but the other two were trying to "watch their figure". You can't watch something that isn't there. It would have been nice to know they didn't eat before I order them each a 20 dollar meal. But no. Of course I didn't stand up for myself. I just sat there quietly till they were done. I put some money on the table for the girls and left the restaurant before Lindsey had time to follow.

I went back to my dorm and saw Frank taking a nap. I was careful not to wake him. I followed his lead. We would start classes the next day so we should rest as much as we can...
