[Ch. 1] Seeing You Again

Vincent's P.O.V
"I'm dropping you off with Scott. I need to take care of something." Mike says sternly.
"Okay..." I nod, as we approach the pizzeria too afraid to ask him why. Scotts shift would have just been ending. I haven't seen him ever since that night. So I haven't seen him in about a month. I sigh and open the door with my left hand. There was a cast on my right hand considering I cut really deep on that wrist, Im stuck in a cast for six months. I walk into the pizzeria and look around.
No one
"Hm..." I sigh and look around. A few minutes after looking I feel someone suddenly grab me and pick me up off the ground.
"What the?!" I look down to see it was Scott. Before I can answer, he hugs me tightly. I hug him back.
"I...I missed you." I say quietly.
"I missed you too." He whispers, we still do not release from the hug. After a few seconds we both finally pull away. He examines me from my feet to the top of my head. Looking at all of my bruises and scratches.
"Vincent how much longer are you gonna get this go on for?" He asks sadly. I just shrug.
"I don't know what to do..." I admit and look down.
"It's gonna be okay." He nods and pulls me into a hug again. "Someday..."
