"Do you think I should follow him?" Did I say that out loud?
"No! Don't even think about it" Sofia warned and strolled into her room, shutting the door. I carried on watching him cross the large field going towards the trees. Fuck this. I pulled on my shoes and grabbed my jacket. I silently made my way downstairs, opening and shutting the door quietly. I ran towards the field, making my way towards the woods. Kyle was no where to be seen but I carried on walking the way I had seen him go before. I heard voices but I could hardly see until I bumped into something warm. The moonlight poured through the trees and I reluctantly looked up to see who it was.
"Oh hey, what are you doing out here pretty lady?" Finn smiled down at me, I looked around, checking that Kyle was no where to be seen. I didn't see the harm in talking to him, he didn't seem threatening towards me. Maybe to Kyle, but not to me. I wasn't scared of any of them.
"Oh, I seen-" I cut myself off, not wanting to mention Kyle to him "I just felt like going on a walk." I blushed at Finn's previous comment, it was a good job it was dark or I'd run with embarrassment.
"A walk? Down here by yourself? You have more balls than me" he chuckled, jokingly. The boys around him sniggered making me laugh.
"It's a bit dangerous coming down here by yourself, don't you think?" a boy spoke up from behind Finn.
"No shit, Tariq" Finn shot back not taking his eyes off me, I chuckled quietly. He brushed my hair away from my face and smiled. "You should stay with us, I don't want to leave you down here. But when I tell you do hide and stay quiet, can you please do it, Savannah?" He snaked his arm around my waist and I nodded, feeling more warmth coming from him comforting me. He remembered my name?
"Yeah sure" I shrugged
"good" he whispered and lead us further into the forrest. We were walking for about fifteen minutes and Finn had let go of me, I mingled with the others, talking to Tariq.
"He must like you" Tariq smirked "he doesn't let hardly any girls tag along with us" He poked me in the side making me squirm. Yes I'm ticklish okay.
"What do you mean? Like he said, he can't really leave a girl down here" I stuck my tongue out.
"Trust me, he would. It depends who they are, I guess" he squinted his brown eyes at me, obviously thinking something.
"What?" I asked
"You're not ugly" he stated, I let out a short laugh before answering,
"Excuse me?"
"You're a good looking girl, I'll leave you to put two and two together" he chuckled and patted me on the back before joining some other boys, dragging me forward. We eventually stopped near a stream, I could here the trickling of the water and the birds making the trees rustle. There was an opening above us were no trees grew, letting the moonlight flood in.
I seen silhouettes come towards us, I tried to look harder, widening my eyes when I recognised him.
"Savannah, go in there" Finn nodded towards a small cave. Is he for real?
"What? No! If you think I'm going in there you can do one" I sort of yelled and whispered, the boys chuckled export for Finn.
"You've picked a fiesty one there, Finn" one of the boys slapped Finn on the back and laughed, what? I wasn't "his". What did he mean "you've picked"?
"I'm serious, get in" his eyes looked stern and angry so I quickly made my way towards the entrance and sat down. There's no way I'm going any further in there.
