Years gone by and still I wait,
Longing that through it all,
U would find it in your heart,
To remember me.
I see them around me my dear,
I see how he loves her,
And I wonder,
Will I ever be her.
Days go by and still I hope,
Though still a darkened heart,
He still sees me not.
I wrap my heart around treasures,
The ones that we have been given,
Within moments of pure hearts passion.
Oh my darling,
I see in them,
The you,
I can't seem to find in this lifetime.
When I look back,
I remember the scent,
Of your armoured life,
Upon my soft and gentle face,
I close my eyes and reach for you,
So close yet so faraway.
Why do you drown yourself,
In an unreal world,
Where the liquid of unseen poison,
Consumes your very soul.
Oh my darling,
Are you in there somewhere,
Or have you gone and withered away.
Waiting time,
Has thou ended,
Has love now lost,
And has sadness gained another red.
