he was done being cautious,
skirting across the edge of her
undulating heart.with an urgency he was not aware
he possessed;
his lips hungrily found hers.at first, all she could do
was stand as still as
a planet long perished.but then—
a fissure erupted in her chest;
a crack, if you will.and all that came forth
were buckets and buckets
of glittering, vintage stars.
