He was going to speak but they heard the door open. Immediately, Maya said, loudly and annoyedly, "I don't fucking care."

Riley and Farkle looked over at the front door and saw Maya walking into the penthouse, followed by Lucas.

She had her typical irritated look on her face, while Lucas had his usual smirk.

"Riiiiiiley," Maya called out, as her eyes landed on the brunette, "We're done here. Let's go home."

Riley picked Nathan up and stood up, "Well, that's our cue to leave then..." She was so thankful that Maya was finally here.

Farkle stood up, as well, as he followed her towards the front door.

Maya smiled with satisfaction as Riley walked towards her, "Thank you for making us spend out time with you. Goodbyyyye."

She turned around and found herself standing right in front of Lucas. She rolled her eyes and looked up to see his face, "Can ya move?"

"That was fun," Lucas smirked, ignoring her request.

"Oh, shut up, Fry pan," Maya scoffed, "Go find another girl to stick yourself into tonight." With all her strength, she shoved him out of her way, "Again, byyyye."

Riley followed her out the door and as she made her way into the hallway, Maya said loudly over her shoulder, "Don't even say anything, Minkus! Riley will call you if she wants to!"

After that, she snorted and clicked the elevator button.

Riley looked at Maya, with a knowing look on her face, "So... Go find another girl to stick yourself into tonight, huh?"

Maya groaned, loudly, "Yeah. Asshole wanted to hook up."

"Surprisingly, I didn't see that one coming," Riley chuckled, as she kissed Nathan's forehead.

"I should have," Maya crossed her arms over her chest, "I mean, it's not like he's changed."

The elevator doors parted and they stepped in. When they closed, Riley looked at the blonde sympathetically, "I'm sorry you had to have lunch with him."

Maya sighed and then shook her head, "No, no. It's fine. It's not like it was your fault or anything. It was just Lucas being a fucking jackass." She clicked the Lobby button.

"Well, you won't have to see him any longer. Hell, I don't even know if I want to see Farkle any longer," Riley said, as she looked at her, "I mean... everything is weird. Today was so awkward. I don't know if I can do this again."

"That's great!" Maya said, cheerfully, "I mean, okay, maybe not great, but I honestly think it's pretty good though. Farkle needs to prove himself for a second chance or whatever."

Riley nodded, "Yeah. I think I let him in too fast and too easy."

Maya smirked, "I'm proud, Riles."

"Where in the fucking hell are you going?" Zay asked, as he opened the pantry door of the kitchen and pulled out a bag of Hershey's Kisses.

He held that under his armpit and headed towards the kitchen table with a bottle of wine and a glass.

"Nathan's 4 months old today," Farkle replied, as he put on a Henley shirt over his bare chest, "I wanna go see him."

"Okay, slow ya roll," Billy scoffed, as he held his glass out for Zay to fill with wine, "It's breakfast time. Get a glass."

"You're gonna have liver failure, I bet you," Farkle snorted, as he grabbed an apple from the marble kitchen counter.
