How Long Are You Going to Stay With Me?

Forever.

A long time ago, she had promised him forever. 

And now, today, with the sun setting over the ocean, casting fiery streaks across the sky as the waves caught the fading sunlight and danced with it, she gave him forever. 

A small group of friends and family watched the ceremony, but Rose had eyes only for her Doctor. So many memories, such pain, such loss, such joy and confusion, and it had all led to this point where she could press her hand up against this Doctor's heart and feel it beating in tandem with hers and know he would never leave her again. 

The Doctor looked at his pink and yellow human, his Bad Wolf, drinking in the radiance of the sun casting golden light on her face. A warm breeze blew tendrils of her blonde hair away from her shoulders and he felt himself smiling as he fell deeper into those warm brown eyes.

Vows were exchanged, and as Rose said "I do" with an uncontrollable grin, she was reminded of an  earlier scene on this very beach--one where she'd lost the most important thing in her life. This time, there would be no broken hearts, and everything important would be said. 

"You may kiss the bride."

The Doctor looked at his Rose with pure joy. He reached toward her, taking her face in his hands and gently pressing his lips to hers. It felt perfect-like everything that had been wrong with the universe since he lost her had suddenly shifted back into place. This was his purpose--not to save the world or to try to make amends for a crime he didn't commit, but to love his Rose.

When they finally pulled apart, there was an outburst of enthusiastic applause from where Rose's family was gathered. The Doctor pulled Rose close, his arm around her waist, and she laughed. There was sand in her shoes but she didn't care, the train of her long white gown was slightly damp from ocean spray but none of that mattered.

After greeting her family and their mutual friends, Rose tossed her bouquet before carelessly slipping off her sandals and tossing them aside as well. She looked at her Doctor, who gave a cheeky wink before asking, "Allons-y?" She grinned, taking his outstretched hand. "Allons-y," she confirmed. He pulled her hand and they began running down the beach, the ocean spray in their faces and Rose's barefoot feet digging into the sand. She could hardly breathe from laughter, but when they finally stopped and her Doctor pulled her close, she fell into a silent contentment.

As the sun began to slip under the horizon, she looked into the eyes of her Doctor. This beach, this sand, this was where it all started. This was where her heart was irreparably broken. But standing on that beach now, at the site of so much pain, and now the birthplace of so much joy and love, she knew that the irreparable brokenness inside her had finally been fixed.

And when his lips met hers, all was right with the universe.

(Okay just for clarification, this is Tentoo and Rose. I just thought she wouldn't call him Tentoo, he's be the Doctor to her as well, I guess... hm I don't know ahhhhh feelssss)
