Nate sat at the kitchen table, staring at his coffee and a slice of burnt toast.

"If you're not going to eat that, then I will." Said the person sitting across from him.

He looked up. "What?"

"It shouldn't take you an hour and 35 minuites to drink a coffee and eat a slice of burnt toast."

"Oh yeah. Sorry Christina." He bit into the toast, black crumbs raining on the plate.

"Still thinking about those two?" She asked.

"I'm sorry, it's just... He's in so much denial that he's accepted it as the truth. He's completely forgotten that he was married. Then, he runs away to start a new life." Nate sighed. "I just... I wish that he didn't have to forget about himself to heal."

"I know, I know." She rested a hand on his shoulder and gave him an understanding smile. He smiled back.

Suddenly, they heard a knock at the door. "Mr. Smith? Package."

I know that voice. "Christina, hide. It's one of them." He whispered.

"But I thought they were all-"

"Dead? Apparently not. Now, quick, go!" She gave a quick nod, but Nate stopped her before she got too far. "Christina, if they get me, find Matt."

"I won't have to. They won't get you. But I promise, I will." Then she ran into the bathroom and locked the door. She placed her ear to the crack and listened in.

"Ah, hello." Said the man at the door.

"Hello. Can I help you?" Asked Nate.

"Um, yes. See, the paperwork. It says in this spot, Nathan Smith, and it says in this spot, Nathan Sharp. Which one is it?" The man asked.

"Sharp." Nate lied.

"Ah, we'll then, sign here."

"I didn't order anything." Nate took a step back.

"Really? That's strange. Here, did I miss anything?" The man held put a clipboard out to Nate, who took it cautiously and read it.

The next thing that Christina heard was a thud. She jumped back, hands covering her mouth to keep from gasping. A look of panic was in her eyes.

Then she heard the faint sound of dragging and the door slam. She burst through the door, but it was too late.

Nate was gone.
