Rey's POV
I enter my little apartment. "Finn I'm home!" I take out my headphones.

"Took you long enough! Grab a control, I'm playing Star Wars Battlefront!" He shouts from the game room.

When we originally bought the three bedroom apartment, Finn, Poe, and I were all going to have our own room, but Poe and I ended up sharing the master bedroom, so we converted the extra room to a game room.

I enter the dark game and grab a controller. "Cross?" I ask permission.

"Hold position." Finn says. "Go go go!"

I run the 3 seconds in front of him and jump onto a bean bag chair. "Add me next game."

"Duh!" He smiles and kills another player. "Dammit!" He growls as it shows him dead and reveals the guy behind him. The round of 'Blast' ends.

"Ha! You were the final kill." I tease.

"Whatever, like you can do better."

"I can do way better."

"Sure you can."

"Fight me!" I playfully joke.

-Hours Later-

"Okay I'm hungry, what's for dinner?"

"Pizza sounds good."

"Oooo pizza." Finn hums.

"Come on. Let's go." I set my controller down and grab my leather jacket, keys, bag, and phone.

Finn follows me out and locks the door. I turn and run into someone.

"Oh I'm so sorry." I apologize to the blonde haired girl.

I pick up the mail she's dropped and hand it to her. "It's alright, no harm done. Thanks. I'm Gwen." She holds out her other hand.

"I'm Rey and this is Finn."

"Nice to meet you both, I'll see you around. If you'll excuse me my roommates called me, something about starving to death." She smiles.

I laugh. "Yeah, we're going out to pizza."

"Pizza solves everything." Finn chimes in.

"That it does." Gwen giggles. "I'll suggest that. See yeah!"

"See yeah!" We reply back.

"Jinx! Pinch poke you owe me a coke!" I say to Finn as I pinch and poke him.

"How bout I buy you dinner and we'll call it even?"

"Sounds good to me."

Finn rolls his eyes.

-Entering 'Shoot First Pizza and Bar'-

We enter and our favorite waitress/hostess, Johanna, seats us near the arcade knowing we'll play the games.

"So Johanna is Han working tonight?"

"Yeah, I'll let him know his favorite customers are here." She smiles. "The usual for you both?"

"Actually can I have Sprite with a shot of cherry sauce?" Finn asks.

"So a Shirley Temple?" I question him.

"So I have you down for a Coke and Sprite both with shots of cherry. And what topping for your medium pizza?"

I giggle. "Do we really come here that much?"

"You get the family discount from Han, what do you think?" Johanna laughs at us.

"But you love us anyways." Finn laughs.

"Well considering your among the few regulars I like seeing come here, I guess you can say I tolerate you."

"Hey, watch it before your tip goes to the arcade."

"Oh it'll go there anyway. Han had the crappy claw machine replaced with a newer one, just for Rey."

"You're gonna have to hold me back Finn if I don't win." I smile, but am totally serious.

"I'll take my tip now." Johanna holds out her hand. I laugh and hand her a five. "Now for the toppings on that pizza?"

"Meat lovers sounds good."

"Mmmmm." Finn hums.

"Okay I'll have that right out." Johanna says closing her notebook and sticking her pen behind her ear.

A few minutes later Han comes out. "Hey Rey!" Han walks over. "How's my favorite customer?"

"Ow, Solo." Finn says and holds a hand over his heart.

"Did you just call me Solo?"

"Sorry Han, Mr. Solo." Finn stumbles.

"And Big Deal wonders why you're my favorite." He whispers to me. I chuckle with him. " So my son, Ben, is coming by with his roommates."

"Oh cool. We've never ran into him before in here surprisingly."

"Yeah, I told him about your new claw machine and how I know your gonna own it and he says he's gonna own it."

"That sounds like a challenge." I cross my arms and lean back against the booth.

"Yeah, so I'm here to pay you to show him up."

I laugh. "You're gonna pay me to play the claw machine."

"Hell yeah on two conditions... you have to give back half your prizes and you work for me here."

"You're offering me a job?"

"I won't be nice to you, doesn't pay much."

"You're offering me a job." I state.

He laughs. "Of course I am. I want you to be part of my family."

"When should I start?"

"Beat my son and we'll talk." He slides me a 20.

"Ben Solo you're going down." I say looking at the 20 in my hands.
