It is a lively place, busy streets and city lights. The rising sun is seen in the horizon as pink and as chalky, spread endlessly across the morning sky.
This is a city that never sleeps. Time is an irrelevant thing here as people come and go at every cycle of the day possible. This monopoly of a complex is a special place...It is almost precisely like a district where residents from all around conjoin together, in a universe where perception intercepts the world of the known reality. No one is normal, at least most people think so...Irregular activity commences constantly along with irregular citizens known to the common man...thus no one is out of the ordinary.
Peeking out of a window of a numerous story complex was a boy no older than 13. The morning breezes carries the curtains of the window back into the complex, undulating in the cool zephyrs. He places his hands firmly on the window sill, leaning out into the vast city allowing the breeze to whistle through his hair. With a look of awe the boy looks at the surroundings, the softly lit city in the calm morning and the colorful lights of complexes, hued pink from the salmon colored sky. Below him, he averts his gaze to a small stand selling breakfast items and citizens trickling in line for it. He makes a long sigh and sinks into the window sill, folding his arms and resting his head in them. His blue hair softly lit with the sky's hues. He turns his head around when he hears a door open and close behind him. As soon as he sees vermillion hair, he gets off the window sill and turns around.
"Staring outside the complex again?"
The blue haired child blinked around the gaze of the other, and spoke in a quiet and muffled voice.
"Yes..."
With a small smile, the blazing haired individual makes an unsure sigh small enough to make a faint pause, and responds irrelevant to his thoughts
"It's really beautiful out there isn't it."
"Mm.." Is his only response.
"You know...." said the boy with the red hair, sitting down on the bed closest to the other, "We can try again today...back up on the hill. Theres a great breeze today if you haven't noticed...maybe you can stay off the ground for a few seconds" he suggested.
The chalky haired boy looks away from him and out the window, rests his head on the window sill and begins to pick at the small bumps in the paint.
"...you know why we can't do that, Takashi..." he mumbled.
Takashi sighs and gets up from the bed and starts emptying his bags which contains snacks and supplies from when he was out.
"You never know, maybe it will go better this time" he mused. "If you fall I'll catch you I promise"
"You know what will happen....I will freeze over...and if I do get off the ground, I'll freak out, freeze over then, and fall down...."
Takashi paused for a small moment when Avians words dwindled to nothing when he noticed him pause.
"The mind is a powerful thing, Avian...take care in your thoughts and you will experience better outcomes."
The sun was now high in the horizon, the blues of the sky becoming more vibrant. The clouds went from salmon hues to a pure and soft white as another day takes its hold over the city.
