Riley looked at Vanessa who had a warm look on her face, "I... I needed to find something." She couldn't lie at this point.

"And what may that be?" Vanessa asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I... his DNA. Farkle's," Riley replied, hesitantly.

She met Farkle's glance. His eyes were widened and he looked shocked. He looked at the baby and swallowed his breath.

"And why is that?" Vanessa pressed for more answers, more detail.

Maya looked at Riley and spoke in her place, "Insurance company needs confirmation about the paternal... you know... that kind of stuff..."

She awkwardly looked at Farkle who had a calculated look on his face as he stared at Nathan.

"Well," Lucas turned back to the brunette, "That was so simple. If you would have just told me that, I would have let you go. Shame."

"Oh, don't flatter yourself, Lucas," Riley rolled her eyes, as she stood up, carefully holding a sleeping Nathan.

Maya sighed, "Can we leave now? We gave you an explanation for all of this."

Missy raised an eyebrow, "Maya, this is a baby that we're talking about. You can't just take Farkle's son away from him."

"He was never there to begin with, so there's nothing to take away from him," Maya said, loudly as she turned towards the door, "Now, if you will all excuse us, we're gonna go-"

"What's his name?" Farkle asked, interrupting Maya.

Maya mentally cursed. She and Riley turned around to face him.

Riley glanced at Maya, who just shrugged. She turned back to Farkle, "Nathan Eric M-Minkus."

"How... how old is he?" Farkle inquired, staying still.

"He's 3 months old. Almost 4," Riley answered, feeling awkward. Everybody was looking at her and all she wanted to do was go back to Brooklyn.

"Oh," Farkle said, with a nod, "Okay."

Maya looked at Riley and then back at Farkle. She rolled her eyes, "Okay, bye." She gently tugged on Riley's shoulder, to direct her to the door.

Riley stared into Farkle's blue eyes before she turned around and walked away.

When Maya's hand touched the doorknob, Farkle called out from behind them, "Can I see him tomorrow?"

"I... what?" Riley turned around to face him again.

Maya rolled her eyes for what seemed like the dozenth time today. This was ridiculous.

"Can I please see my son tomorrow?" Farkle asked, again, as he met Riley's glance.

"Um," Riley could feel the heat in her cheeks.

What was she supposed to do? Yes, Farkle had dumped her harshly and broke her heart, but now he wanted to see his son. Was she supposed to keep his son away from him?

At this point, Billy, Missy, Zay, and Vanessa popped open a bottle of champagne to enjoy with their entertainment for the night.
