I can't believe we're here again
I want to feel your kiss
Your warm embrace
But most of all I want to see red
That sweet sense of bliss
What makes my heart race
But they don't seem to think it's okay
They wonder why I act like this
Why I always let you chase

I can see why they worry
They see my scars
But they don't understand
They can try but they can't
They aren't part of these wars
But they dealt me this hand
They can try to talk to me
But I'll always be behind invisible bars
But the hourglass will run out of sand

I miss them sometimes
I know they miss me too
But they didn't know the pain
I had to leave that life
They wish that I had grew
But I died while in the rain
They will always remember me
And all the things I drew
But they would always be my bane
