She found herself taking a step back (directly onto Alex's foot) as the machine activated and they were surrounded by white lights in darkness.

"What are those?"

Moira gasps, ducking instinctively.

"Those are all the humans of the world."

Hank tells her.

"And these,"

Red lights replace the white.

"are all the mutants."

Nyx stares in wonder at the light, the darkness around her giving her a surge of energy.

She inhales deeply, savouring the boost of energy in the middle of the day.

"I'm connected to all of their minds."

Xavier says.

"The CIA would kill for this."

Moira says.

"I know they would."

Xavier replies.

"Where are you, Erik?"

He asks.

"Hello, old friend. I'm sorry. I am so sorry. I feel your pain."

Xavier's voice seemed to disappear, as Nyx noticed one of the lights moving, fast.

It stopped here and there as it moved across the mass that appeared to be the US.

There was only one person Nyx knew of that could move that fast.

The same speedster they'd recruited to stop Trask.

Peter Maximoff was zipping sparatically across the country.

Nyx found her hand reaching out, wondering what would happen if she touched one of the lights.

Then people started shouting.

The red light flooded purple.

"Charles, get out!"

Hank shouts as everything starts going haywire.

"Charles?"

Raven asks worriedly as Charles's eyes black out.

"I have never felt power like this before."

Charles mutters.

"Charles, get out!"

"What's going on? What's happening?"

Moira demands.

"I think- Someone's taken over Cerebro. They've taken control of it."

Hank says opening a control panel.

"To do what?"

Alex demands.

"To connect."

"Hank, do something!"

Raven yells.

"It won't shut down!"

Hank exclaims.

"Alex, Nyx!"

Xavier calls.

"What?!"

"Destroy it! Destroy everything. Destroy Cerebro! Wreak havoc."

Nyx nods to Alex.

Alex throws his arms back and let's an explosive beam blast from his chest, tearing through the panel's.
