"Kid, why ya gotta be so dramatic all the time?"

Nyx stretched her eyes open, but they immediately revolted snapping closed because of the bright light.

"You know me, drama's the only thing that keeps me from getting bored."

She replies wincing as she lets her eyes adjust to the light.

Alex chuckles.

"Man remind me to never develop telepathy. That was horrible."

Nyx groans sitting up in her bed.

"How are you feeling Nyx?"

She looks up to see the professor, wheeling in.

"Like how I imagine a hangover."

Nyx groans rubbing her temples, making Xavier chuckle.

"I don't doubt that. Could you see? Everything Jean was seeing?"

Nyx frowns.

"I don't know what Jean was seeing, but all I saw was death."

She says darkly.

Xavier nods.

"I fear something bad may be happening."

He says quietly.

"Which is why, me and Alex are taking a short trip, and being my intern it's your job to make sure the school doesn't explode."

Charles tells her.

Nyx grimaces.

"That won't be easy."

She comments.

Charles smiles.

"You'll do fine, we'll be back in a few hours."

He assures her.

And with that, he leaves.

Nyx groans and burrows in her comforter.

"Hey Nyxie, when I leave in a few days.. Keep an eye on Scott for me will ya?"

Nyx pokes her head out of her blankets.

"Sure."

Then her signature mischievous smirk appears.

"But I think Jean already has that covered."

Then with a wink, she disappears again.

"You're so childish."

Alex states, Nyx hears him stand.

"And that's why you love meee."

Is her muffled reply.

He rolls his eyes.

"See ya kid."

He says letting his hand brush her shoulder before walking towards the door.

"See ya man."

She calls.

The moment the door latches, she pulls herself out of bed and goes straight to her dresser.

"Feels like a good day for some Journey."

She says, plucking the cropped graphic tee from her drawer.

She also grabbed her favorite pair of washed out high waisted jeans, and her converse.

"Now to stop the destruction of the property."

She says leaving her and Jean's room.
