"Berlin - Teeza"

~

Caroline's POV

The bright sun beams shone down onto my pale skin as I opened my eyes. The first thing I saw when I woke up was a note. Curiously, I picked it up and read the front
"To my dearest Barbie."
I scoffed, assuming it was from Damon. He had the tendency to call me that, specifically to get on my nerves. I unfolded it and quickly read the inside message.

"Meet at the Salvatore house 8pm tonight. Wear your best, it'll be an eventful evening."

It must be Damon stirring something up, like he usually does. I swung my legs out of bed, wishing I could spend as much time as possible in my warm, comforting covers, before I slouched down the hall to my bathroom. It was a Friday. My thoughts perked up as I was reminded I had the weekend ahead of me.

I brushed through my ringlets of golden hair, before brushing my teeth and applying a natural layer of makeup. I decided on a classic Caroline outfit consisting of a short, loose, white dress with heeled ankle boots.

Caroline: Hey Bon, are you on your way to school? Mind swinging by mine to pick me up?

Bonnie: Sure, I'm with Elena, we'll be right there.

Collecting the last of my things, I galloped down the stairs and stepped out the door into the morning.
I sat on my porch waiting for my friends, letting the sun rays warm me up, and the slight breeze flow through my hair and dress. My eyes were closed breathing in the fresh air when I heard a car horn. Jumping up I looked around and spotted Bonnie and Elena smiling at me. They looked so happy and it made me feel all fuzzy inside. I had a soft spot for seeing the people I love happy.

I hopped into the back seat and demanded Elena turned up the radio. We were in a discussing anything and everything for most of the ride. School, boys, magic, you know the usual, before I remembered the note I got this morning.
"Hey guys wait.. This morning I woke up and found this note on my dresser. Did either of you get one?" I asked and I knew the answer straight away as they both reached into their bags.
"Yeah we both did. We were wondering if we were the only ones." Elena replied passing me the two scraps of paper.
"Who's it from? What do you think is happening?" Bonnie asked pulling into the school parking lot.
"I'm not sure? I was thinking Damon but-" Elena cut me off.
"It's not. I asked him about it and he says he got one too. So did Stefan." She looked confused.
"So none of us know anything?" They both shook their heads "I guess we'll go and prepare for the worst." I exclaimed enthusiastically, exiting the car as they followed, thoughts running through my mind like they were on a treadmill.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was stood outside the Salvatore house breathing heavily. I had no idea what or who was on the other side of that door and my nerves were getting the best of me. I had dressed appropriately to the letters instructions. I was wearing a deep plum dress, that hugged my figure perfectly, while showing the whole of my back. My feet were clad in black Loubitons, which I spent all my savings on in Junior year and was determined to wear them to their full potential, and my hair was in loose curls. I took a deep breath and knocked on the grand door. As the it swung open, I looked up from the ground and gasped.
"Klaus?"
His signature smirk was formed and I tried to smile back. "W-what are you doing here?" I stuttered pushing past him to get inside.
"Well I assume exactly what you're doing love? I got a letter too." He said holding it up in front of my face. He wore a white shirt and black tie that wasn't buttoned all the way to the top.. He looked amazing and my mind slipped back to the last time we saw each other. Let's put it shortly. We did it in the woods. I'd finally confessed my feelings towards him, and after months of pushing it to the back of my mind, he was back in town and it all came rushing back to me like a wave.
Turning away from him, trying to distract myself, I looked at who else had been called to the Salvatore house. Sitting on one couch was Bonnie, Elena, Matt and Stefan all very deep in discussion. Opposite then were the rest of the Original clan: Elijah, Kol and Rebekah. The youngest had seemed to crack a joke and while Elijah seemed to be holding in his laughter, Rebekah had gotten up and looked like she was full of rage. Of course Damon was in front of the fireplace with a glass of bourbon and Hayley was sat in a chair facing everyone, looking bored out of her mind. I decided to go and sit with Elena, Bonnie, Matt and Stefan. Obviously.
"Alright!" Damon said with loud voice. "Can somebody, please, tell me why you're all in my house?"
"Yeah. I'd like to know as well." Stefan turned towards the rest of the group before taking a sip of whiskey.
"If any of us knew, don't you think someone would've said something already?" Rebekah retorted twirling a lock of hair round her dainty finger. Suddenly, the door flew open and everyone spun round to see their least favourite person standing in the right in front of their wide eyes.
"I see you all got your letters." She smirked. It was Katherine.
