Chapter 4

"Megan!!" He shouted again, only his voice was closer and louder.

I bit my lip nervously and ran inside of the closet. I closed it and hid behind all of the clothes, hoping that he wouldn't find me in here. Apparently, what ever I want doesn't happen, because next thing you know, the bedroom door opened and Ryder appeared with a smirk on his face. 

"Megan." He said slowly, searching around the room with his eyes.

Just as he was about to leave, something fell on my head, which caused me to yell out a whole bunch of curse words. 

"Shit." I groaned, rubbing my head in pain. 

He quickly came over to the closet and opened it with an evil smirk on his face. I got up quickly and tried to run, but he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. I began pounding on his back and he laughed.

"Did you really have to give me a hickey?" He asked in amusement.

"Can you please put me down? I'm not enjoying my view." I said, trying to change the subject.

"I'm definitely enjoying mines." He said, giving me a smack on my ass.

I gasped in shock, while he chuckled. He walked down the stairs, and then down the other, until we reached the living room. He finally put me down and my mom came inside the living room with a smile on her face.

"I have some great news!" She announced, clapping her small hands together. 

"What's the news?" I asked as Ryder snaked his arms around my waist.

"Well, as you know. We have some new pack members, and they moved next door to us! So, I arranged for all of us to have dinner together! Ryder you're invited too. That's if you can come." She squealed.

"Sure. I'll be able to attend." Ryder smiled. 

Gosh, his smile made my heart flutter. 

"So Megan, go get ready. They'll be here in 30 minutes." She said, walking back into the kitchen.

"I'll be right back." Ryder said, giving me a soft peck on my lips. 

"Okay." I smiled at him and watched as he left my house. 

My body felt empty without him here, but he'll be back soon enough. I rushed up the stairs  and headed inside of my bedroom. I already knew what I was gonna wear, so all I had to do was take a shower and put on some make up.

Entering my bathroom, I turned on the shower and stripped out of my clothes. I entered the shower and the hot water hit my soft skin. After I finished bathed, I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around me. I dried off and put on my under garments. After I was finished, I put on my midnight blue dress that stopped in the middle of my thighs, and my midnight blue shoes that matched with it perfectly. I put a pair of diamond studs, along with a pearl necklace. When I was finished, I applied a little bit of mascara and makeup to my face, then I curled the ends of my hair.
