Chapter 11 • Kill Lists and Tiny Fists

Start from the beginning

"I heard the knife fly past my head, it was so close to hitting me, I thought..." Alex's words started to fade as I got up to get a lollipop. I walked into the kitchen and got myself a raspberry lollipop from one of the drawers. I took the wrapper off the lollipop and popped the lollipop in my mouth.

"Can I have one?" One of them asked

"Nope." I replied

"Why do you hate us so much?" Jordan asked me.

"Hate is a strong word, more like really dislike to the point of committing murder." I replied

"Come on Mar, just soften up to them a little. I mean they seem like they mean no harm. And plus since when are you this cold, you're normally the bubbly personality kinda girl." Robbie said

"Only if they sign a contract with a few rules." I suggested

"Name a few of those rules." Jaden said

I walked over to the couch and started thinking of a few rules. "Well:
1.) All the previous house rules still apply
2.) No violating my privacy
Those are all the rules I can think of." I shrugged. To tell the truth, I don't really like being mean, I don't like being that girl that no one wants to be around. I want to be the girl that's weird. But little do these boys know that that side, will be the death them... Literally... just joking, or am I? Time to unleash, the Beast.

"No problem." Jordan smiled. "Now can you make us some food?"

"You used to be
So terrified
Can you go buy me
Some cheese and wine?
When did you get
So comfortable?
'Cause I'm too good for that
I'm too good for that" I quickly ran to stand on the kitchen island for the chorus

"I ain't gon be cookin' all day
I ain't yo momma
I ain't gon do yo laundry
I ain't yo momma
I ain't gon do your dishes
I ain't yo momma
I ain't gon grant your wishes
I ain't yo momma

I ain't yo momma no!" I did my little remix of the actual song. I jumped off the table to wipe any footprints that were left over by my shoes.

That feels so much better.

"Is that the same Marnise Hudson or is that an illusion." Alex asked

"No, that's just her." Robbie answered

"You're joking right?" Dylan asked

"No he isn't." I walked back to my sofa. You have no idea how free I am. I am that kind of free like after a long day, you rip your bra off and you're just like 'YASSS!!!'.

"I wanna watch a movie." Robbie moaned

"Me too!" The others agreed.

"Let's watch... Central Intelligence." Jordan suggested. They all agreed and they let themselves go into the movie room.

"Yo Marnise, do you wanna come or what?" Alex asked

"Nah, I'm cool." I shrugged. When they were gone, I heard Angel crying from my room. Before I got to her, I ran to Robbie's car to quickly get her bag. I sprinted up the stairs to nearly trip by missing a step but I made it to the room none the less.

I picked her up in my arms. I calmed her down as I walked down the stairs. I got her bottle out and I started feeding her. I went back upstairs to grab a beanie because Angel was starting to pull on the towel, and for some reason babies have an iron grip.

When she was done drinking her milk, a devious idea came. I evilly laughed and looked at Angel to see her smiling.

And they say babies know...
