Chapter 11 • Kill Lists and Tiny Fists

Start from the beginning

"Why not?" Jordan said, "Do you wanna come?" Jaden turned to me

"Are you blind, or did you forget that I just are four slices of bread?" I asked Jaden

"Never mind. I never knew that being nice would end up turning like this." Jaden mumbled and got up from his seat.

"And I never knew that I would almost kill a person today, oh wait, I did." I rolled my eyes. They stood up to get out and I didn't even notice that today, they were decent as in they were wearing shirts.

Why???!!

They all stood up, including Alex, got out of the door. Being nice, I opened the garage door and gate so that they could just leave. When I saw that their car was out of my sight, I got up to wash my dishes and then walked up to my room. I decided that since the boys weren't here, I could do some revising on some songs. I first changed from my robe, into light grey sweatpants and a white and peach oversized sweatshirt that reaches to the area above my knees. I kept the towel wrapped around my head because I don't think its time to take it off yet.

I went over to my keyboard, pulled it closer to my bed so that it was on the side of the bed. The keyboard stand was a bit taller than my bed so this allowed me to sit down on by bed with my legs crossed to allow me to be able to play the piano.

I'm not the best piano player in the world, heck, I don't even know how to read music notes but I play enough to get me through a few songs. I'm basically a self taught player and it makes me feel special you know, even though I know that there are more skilled self taught piano players in this world. I rolled up the sleeves of the sweatshirt side they were covering my hands.

I flicked the On switch on my Yamaha keyboard. I adjusted the volume to be a bit louder but not very loud. I then skimmed each key with my fingers and I set my hands on the keyboard wondering what song I could play. I ended up deciding to play my own cover of Turning Tables by Adele. I positioned my fingers on the keys that I needed to use for the song. When I started playing, I sang in a lower register...

Close enough to start a war
All that I have, is on the floor
God only knows what were fighting for
All that I say, you always say more

I can't keep up
With your turning tables
Under your thumb I can't breathe

So I won't
Let you close enough to hurt me
No I won't
Ask you, you to just desert me
I can't give you...
The heart you think you gave me
It's time to say goodbye
To turning tables
To turning tables

Next time I'll be braver
I'll be my own saviour
When, the thunder calls for me
Next time I'll be braver
I'll be my own saviour
Standing, on my own two feet
