Chapter 11 • Kill Lists and Tiny Fists

Start from the beginning

I took out a mat from Blanket Paradise and a few toys that were in there. I set Angel down on the mat and I surrounded her with toys so that she could keep herself busy. I checked in the cupboards to find out that I didn't buy any fondant icing.

I picked Angel and took Robbie's keys.

"Let's go for a little road trip." I smiled at Angel. Don't you dare think that I'm kidnapping the child. I just want to go to the baking shop to greet some icing. I'm only taking Rob's car because he has that baby seat in it and I don't want to disturb him while watching a movie.

I went outside with Angel on my hip and set her nicely in the chair and buckled her up. I opened the gate and drove to the nearby bakery. I played some sooting music so that I don't damage the poor child's ears.

I rocked up at the bakery, parked the car, picked up Angel and headed toward the bakery. I touched Angel a bit so u could get a cute little giggle out of her and I succeeded. I walked into the bakery and I was greeted by the smell of baked goods.

I smiled and looked at the cashier whose name was Cara.

"Aww, what a cute baby you have there." Cara pinched Angel's cheeks.

"Say thank you Angel." I lightly teased.

"Anyway, what would you like today?" Cara asked me.

"I would like two packets of white fondant and a medium sized bucket of buttercream icing thank you." I smiled.

"Coming right up." Cara turned away into the bakery. She came back shortly with a bucket of buttercream icing and two packets of fondant.

She typed something into the till and it showed $27,89, she also put my stuff into a plastic bag with the bakery's logo on it. I handed her thirty dollars, thanked her and went out of the bakery.

I put Angel in her seat, I got into the drivers seat and before I left, I saw that Robbie's tank is almost empty. I went to the nearby gas station to fill up his tank so that it could be full. I went back home and went through the door with my goods and Angel.

If you were wondering, my plan is to bake the cake without the boys. I don't want to bake it with them because I don't trust them to be working in my kitchen. I placed Angel on the mat and make my way to the kitchen. I took out all the ingredients that I would need to bake that cake and I started working.

When I was finished mixing in all the different colours of the rainbow cake to each layer, I heard Angel giggling. I looked at her to find her barefoot and her foot was in her mouth.

"You silly baby, why you eating your foot?" I walked up to her to take her foot out of her mouth, but every time I would get her mouth, she would just put it back in there. I gave up and chuckled on my way back into the kitchen.

I decided to bake a two tier cake. I took out a cylindrical baking tray and neatly poured the colours: violet, indigo, blue and green into the tray. I put that baking tray into the oven that I already pre heated. I took out a smaller cylindrical baking great and poured the colours: yellow, orange and red. I then put that tray into the oven and I went over to play with Angel.

After a while, I started to smell the cakes so I went over to a drawer to take out hand mitts to take the trays out. I first lay something on the table so that the trays don't damage the table. I took out a cake stand to lay our the two different layers on.
