A mansion pretty much sums up what Rick and Jared live in. Their backyard leads into the woods and

reminds me of where we have our pack meetings. I sighed as I walked through the crowd of mostly humans, Rick and Jared had a thing for messing with them.

"Damn Princess! Lookin' good!" Jared yelled to me through the crowd and I ignored him as I walked

into his house and straight to the back yard where the bar always is.

"Hey Sexy." I smiled sweetly to the human bartender.

"Rum please." He smiled and turned around to get me my drink. I sighed and looked at all the sweaty

bodies grinding against each other. I made a thinking face and tried to figure out the appeal of the dance.

I've never had a boyfriend, I've never had time to bother trying to get one, so I don't understand why

couples grind on each other. "Miss." I smiled to the bartender and took my drink from him. "You here by yourself tonight?"

I actually looked at the bartender's face this time, he was actually quite attractive. He had dark hair

that laid brushed around his eyes, but it wasn't long enough to actually cover his eyes, snake bites that suited him rather well, and an attractive smile. "Yes, I am."

"Well then, I'm Nathan." He smiled and his eyeliner crinkled with his eyes. He held his hand out and I

shook it.

"Melanie."

"You're very attractive, Melanie."

"As are you." I sat on the bar stool and smiled to him as I took a drink of my rum.

"If I were to get someone to work the bar for me, how would you like to grant me the pleasure of

getting to spend some time with you?"

I smiled again before I smirked. "I think I would like that very much."

He smiled and looked over to his left. "Polly! You're up!" A thin bald man walked behind the bar and

took the apron from Nathan. "Thanks man." Nathan hopped over the bar and sat next to me. "Scotch please?" Polly nodded and quickly got Nathan his drink before he disappeared. "So how do you know the Haner family?"

"Uh… family friends I guess you could say." Nathan waited patiently for further explanation. "Rick

was my father's friend before he passed."

"Oh, I'm sorry." Nathan grabbed my hand and I looked in his eyes to see that he was truthfully sorry.

"It's okay." I laced my fingers with his and his eyes smiled. "It was a long time ago." He nodded and

squeezed my hand.

"Well, how about I get your mind off of this and we go dance?"

"I've never danced before."

"Really?" Nathan looked at me shocked as I truthfully nodded. "Well then allow me to teach you." He

smiled sweetly to me and pulled me out in the mixture of the sweaty bodies. "Stand real close me like this." He stood behind me and pulled me up right against him. "And then all you do is this." Nathan started grinding on me and I laughed a little before I followed his lead. "See! Nice and simple!" Nathan yelled over the music and he held my waist as we continued to grind.

"Having fun Princess?" I looked up at see Rick standing in front of us.

"Sure am." I smiled.

"Nathan, how about you go back to the bar."
