We need to talk

Audrey woke up early the next morning, the bright light of the sun's rays had woken her and prevented her from getting back to sleep again. It being 6:00 AM, she had a lot of time to kill before school started at 9:00. She strolled over to her wardrobe and chose her outfit for the day; a grey low cut t-shirt, a black hoodie and her red leather jacket. Audrey wandered out of her room and down the hall into her bathroom.

"Honey, that you?" Her dad called from downstairs.

"Yeah, I'm just getting ready." She called back, waiting for a response before closing the light wooden door.

"Okay love, I'm leaving early for work. I'll be back late so can you stay at a friends house?" You could tell he was in a rush not just from the hurried tone in his voice but from the rustling coming from him presumably trying to find his keys.

"Yeah, that's fine, love you." She shut the door before he could reply and started at her reflection. Audrey fixed her hair before slathering toothpaste on her toothbrush and almost frantically brushing her teeth, she too seemed to be rushing however she wasn't going to be late. She yanked her phone out of her pocket, typed in her four digit code (Noah's birthday) and pulled up her messages. Opening her conversation with Brooke, she began typing;

Audrey: Hey.

Brooke: Hey, what are you doing up so early?

Audrey: I could ask you the same, I woke up early and I couldn't get back to sleep.

Brooke: Oh, I didn't get much sleep.

Audrey: Me neither. Listen, I'm already dressed can I swing by now and we can walk to school or something.

Brooke: Is this because you know my dad's out of town and you're trying to get in my pants?

Audrey: Nah, nothing like that, the opposite actually. I just wanna talk.

Brooke: Okay, okay, but we aren't walking. I'll drive us.

Audrey: Fine, be there in 10.

Audrey had forgotten just how big Brooke's house was. She'd been there the night before but the enormity still seemed to surprise her. The front doors were twice the size of her and so her knock was barely audible. Brooke swung the large door open with a smile, and walked up the grand staircase leading to her bedroom, Audrey in tow. The pair sat on the end of Brooke's fancy bed.

"What did you want to talk about?" Brooke questioned intently, even though she already knew the answer.

"Last night." Audrey mumbled. "I just.. I think we should talk about last night."

"What about it?" Brooke pushed knowing what she wanted Audrey to say.

"The kiss," Audrey continued, "What did it mean?"

"Well did you like it?" Brooke continued to push, edging closer to Audrey as she did.

"Yes, of course I liked it."

That was all Brooke needed to hear, she smiled before placing her lips against Audreys and kissing her. Shocked, Audrey pulled back slightly, not enough to break the kiss but just enough for her to realize what was happening. Brooke's hand held Audrey's hip while her other hand found the nape of Audrey's neck and tugged at the short hair, releasing a small moan. She pushed Audrey back onto the bed and sat against her pelvis, grazing her own against it and taking great pleasure from every pause in Audrey's breathing, every time it'd get heavier and then regulate again. The kiss never broke, it only deepened and Audrey's palms resided on Brooke's soft cheeks, pulling her back in every time she pulled away for air.

Brooke's lips left Audrey's and instead became planted on her neck, moving lower until they reached her clavicle, which was well pronounced. Every time Brooke's kiss would hit Audrey's skin, her back would arch and her eyes would roll back into their sockets, almost commanding Brooke to do it once more. Brooke pulled away from Audrey's skin and sat up, still on top of her, Audrey's hands were around her small waist whilst Brooke's hands were lovingly wrapped around Audrey's neck. She kissed her once more but when she pulled away she glanced over at the digital clock on the cabinet beside her bed. She shot off the bed instantly.

"What?" Audrey asked, confused, she turned to the clock and saw 8:45 flashing in green. "Oh, shit!"

"Shit indeed" Brooke repeated, she didn't really care too much about being late but them walking in late together was too much of a coincidence to ignore. "Grab your bag, we're leaving." She demanded, Audrey liked this new side, the shouty one , it almost turned her on.

Audrey realised she had never been in a Range Rover before that morning, like most things in Brooke's life it was unnecessarily large. Brooke interrupted the silence of the journey with a question "I thought you weren't trying to get in my pants?" she chuckled, her seemingly innocent laugh reverberating off of the leather interior of the overly expensive car. "Hey, you kissed me." Audrey smirked back, nudging Brooke's thin arm with her elbow. " Yeah as a test and you failed, you didn't stop me."

"Maybe I didn't want to" Audrey said as Brooke took one of her hands of the wheel and held it out, Audrey weaved her fingers through Brooke's and sighed. "Good, because I really wanted to kiss you." She smiled, rubbing her thumb against the back of Audrey's hand before pulling into the parking lot of GW High.
