Demi's PoV

This past week Erin has gotten into so much trouble. I don't know what is going on with her. Where is the vulnerable girl I met last week? Something is definitely wrong but when I ask her she says

"I'm fine"

but I see right through it. I have a feeling there is something going on at home but she won't talk about it so today I am going to go to the Suncare orphanage and have a look around.

You never know I might adopt someone. I just think that if I had an idea of what is happening at home Erin will be more comfortable talking to people about her problems instead of acting out in anger. Its got to be hard living in an orphanage. Poor Girl.

I just want to take care of her and make her my baby girl, giving her back her childhood. Also, I think I could do with getting rid of that attitude and foul language she has. I just want to help her and show her that someone cares.

I wake up to the sun invading my bedroom and glance at my alarm clock.

7:45

 it reads.

"Uhhhhhhhhh"

I say as I  force myself to get out of bed and head towards the shower.

Once showered I get dressed and make my way downstairs. I enter the kitchen and I'm greeted by Batman who is jumping all over the place.

"Hi baby, are you hungry."

I tease as I stroke him and get his food out to feed him.

I feed him and make myself some toast with Nutella and sliced bananas with a glass of juice.

While eating breakfast I check some emails and go on social media. After breakfast, I go and brush my teeth. I look at the clock and I grab my car keys and leave for the orphanage. I wouldn't usually be up this early on a Saturday, but ill do anything to make sure my baby girl is okay.

I pull up to the orphanage and walk in. I am greeted by a woman who looks like she has been dragged through a hedge.

"Pleasant"

I mumble sarcastically

"How can I help"

she says lazily. I roll my eyes at the rudeness.

"Um, I am maybe wanting to adopt a child"

I say politely.

"Ok well, follow me and I will bring you to the playroom where all of the kids are"

She spits out

I follow her to a room full of toys and children from ages 2-17. I scan around the room. It seems very friendly. I start to talk to a group of kids while trying to look for Erin but she is nowhere to be seen.

"Please don't be adopted"

I silently pray in my head as I hope she is still here. All of a sudden the rude lady from before  shouts "

Outdoor activities"

Out of nowhere all of the children rush outside, so  I follow them hoping to find Erin.

"Please God"

I pray as I walk around the fenced off area.

I sigh as I realize she is not here and start to walk back when I notice a girl hidden around a corner with headphones in. She looks about Erin's height. I walk up to her and as I get closer I realize, it is Erin!
