The Beginning

"Happy Birthday Daddy!!!" Ten year old Camille shouts while bringing a cake in front of her Dad.
"Thanks pumpkin" her dad says kissing her on the forehead.
"Dad try the cake. I made it and mommy didn't help me. Hope you like it."
"Really! You made it. I bet it's very tasty."
He takes a bite and smiles
"Love, it's wonderful"
"Thanks Dad. Mom I told you dad would love it."
"Yes you did." Her Mom
hugs her "Camille why don't you go get the present you got for your father?"
Camille runs upstairs and opens her wardrobe. She brings out two gift bags, opens it and checks it to see the one for her dad. She brings out the gift from the first bag. It's not for her dad. She checks the second one; it's not his too.
"Where's the gift bag?" She searches everywhere in her room but couldn't find it. About to give up, she remembers the top shelf in her room. She quickly climbs her reading chair and looks up. Finding a gift bag she takes it and looks inside. It was the one. She smiles and goes downstairs.
"Sorry dad I forgot where I kept... Dad? Mom? Where are you guys. Ah so you want to play hide and seek now? You know I always win" she giggles
She starts to search. She searches the kitchen, the store, the basement, the dinning, the gym room and the library.
"You guys are giving me a tough one but no problem. I'll still find you. I'm coming upstairs!"
She gets upstairs and checks everywhere but she couldn't find them.
"Did they go somewhere without me? I'll check their driveway"
She opens the door and steps on something that felt like a human. She looked down and found her mom covered in blood.
"Mom! Mother! No mommy please tell me this is a joke wake up please I beg you! Mommy noo please. Dad! Daddy? Daddy where are you mom's dying
" Camille" came a week voice
Camille looks down
"Yes mom I'm here you'll be fine. Nothing would happen. Once I find daddy we'll take you to the hospital and...
" Baby your father's dead"
"What?"
Her mom raises her week hand and points towards the right. "They shot him and he fell down the porch."
"What? Who's they. No please mom. Help! Someone help us."
She leaves her mom, runs down the porch and finds her father already dead on the ground.
"Daddy! Dad please wake up mom needs to get to the hospital. Dad please please...
She runs back to her mom
" Camille "
"Mom I'm here.
" I'm dying I...
"No please your not. Don't say that mom I beg you."
"I love you okay. Know that however your life would be after this, I'll always be here for you."
"No mother please I need you. If you die I'll have no one else. Dad's already dead. Please."
"Take care of yourself. Your are big now and you'll make us proud."

"Little girl is there a problem?"a strangers voice came.
Without looking at the person Camille says
"Yes my dad's dead and my mom's dying but if you can please help me, then we'll take her to the hospital and she won't die."
"I've got a better solution."he pulls out his gun about to shoot. Camille looks at him

"You killed them!"

He's hit on the head with a stick. He falls down and behind him stood Mr. Allison their neighbor stood behind the man with a rod in his hand.
"We have to go now!"he says quickly
"No! I can't leave mommy here to die. I can't!"
Pulling her, he says
"Camille there's nothing we can do; you have to let them go a...
"Are you mad! How will I let my parents die. Leave me alone I'll take care of my mom."
She breaks free and runs to her moms side. When she got there her mom was dead.
"Mom? Mom no please wake up! You just talking to me."
While she was shaking her mom, Mr Allison spotted some cars that belong to the company her father worked with and knew they were here to kill her.
"Camille we have to go now."
"He carries her on his shoulder and runs inside the house, then leaves through the back door and runs into his house.
"Put me down now!" He puts her down "Why did you bring me here? And you let my parents die! Mom! No I'm going back to get her. She's alive and she needs a doctor."
"Camille your parents are dead."
"I talked to my mom. She's not dead." She begins to walk out.
"Camilla! Listen! The people that killed your patents want to kill you and they would stop at nothing to kill you. Your dad knew this day would come so he made preparations for you and your mom's safety but since your mom didn't make it it's just you. So I need you to trust me and I'll be your father if you want me to."
Camille hugs him
"Thanks Mr. Allison I mean dad."
He smiles.
"We have to get ready to leave now."
"To where?"
He shows her two passports. Her new name was Kira Jackson and his Roger Jackson.
"We're changing our identity? But I like Camille."
"Do you want to die?"
She shakes her head
"Then we'll have to change it."
They get ready and drive to the airport. They get on the plane
"You ready?"
"Yeah." She smiles and they hold hands.
