Our Alpha, My Mate

Chapter 2

When he pulls into his parking spot he comes around to open the door for me, before leading me inside to a different section of the pack house i've never seen. When we reach big door he knocks twice before Alphas voice booms from behind it to come in, when Beta opens it my parents are sitting across from him.

"Sit" He comanded not even looking up from paperwork

Walking over I sit in the chair between my parents as Beta closes the door quietly, my parents look just as nervous as I do none of us look up at our Alpha.

"Your probably wondering what your doing here" He says looking at us

"Yes sir" My father says trying to keep his voice steady

"As you've probably heard through rumors I have found my mate" He speaks calmly no one answers so he continues

"This is true and...your daughter is it" He says

Our heads snap up looking between each other and him absolutely stunned, my mom looks like she's about to either faint or have a heart attack while my dad looks like he's full of anger as well as pride. For him this is the best thing that could happen for our familly as we're not of high stature in this pack.

"She can remain with you and in school until the new year then she will be required to start the preperations to become luna; she will come live with me as well as being pulled from school where I will make sure she is given the best home schooling available in order to graduate" Never mind I might be the one to pass out of have the heart attack

For the next hour they discuss what will happen to me the next few months I try to interject, to argue but I lose everytime because he is the alpha. He makes us promise that we will keep this this all a secret until the announcement during the new year celebration.

"Give us a moment please" He commands my parents who obediantly raise from their seats and leave

"Calm down I'm not going to hurt you" He promises leaning back in his chair as I press myself into the all

"Look I know this is a lot to take in but I promise to make this a seamless transition for you" He says standing slowly, coming over to me his voice devoide of any emotion like this is just a job for him

His voice is as smooth a silk, he smells like pine, fresh air mainly after it rains it's utterly intoxicating and I take a second to enjoy it. He raises his hand to move a piece a hair from my face but when he does I flinch away, his skin is hot agaisnt my cheek when his finger lightly grases me.

"You don't have to be scared of me I will never hurt you I will protect you with my life from now until forever, do you understand?" He says lowering his head to meet my eyes

"Yes alpha" I whisper finally meeting his eyes, Nima starts to whimper

"You can call me Blue" He says as he runs his thumb over my jaw

Then he backs off taking his heat with him as he walks back to his desk he sits down picking up a document,

"Jason is waiting for you at the front door to take you home" And with that I'm dismissed

The minute I'm in the hallway I feel like I can finally breath, when I walk out into the main area of the pack house people are starting to file in, I push myself through the crowd ignoring everyone. Beta Burns is leaning against his car on his phone when I push outside. When he notices me he goes to open the door for me then drives to my house this drive just as quiet as the first. When we get to the house he opens my door and I can't get out of the car and to the front door fast enough before I open the door I turn to look back and he's waiting for me get inside.

"Mommy"  I said plowing into her open arms tears filling my eyes, she was standing in the doorway like she knew this was coming

"I know sweetie this is scary for all of us"She said hugging me back

"Why is this happening to me?" I sob as she strokes my hair

"You know we have no control over this honey this will be a good thing you're still here until the new year" She says pulling away from me

"You are destined for great things" My dad says as he appears in the hallway
