Ice blue eyes smiling back at me when I look at you,
A mind full of secrets you won't dare to tell.
Your hand giving me safety just by holding mine,
Strong arms keeping me warm in silent moments of perfection.
Late night walks, watching stars and little adventures like back in childhood days,
Timeless moments which will stay in memory for ever.
You grew up in a world of dusty trucks and farms,
A life I never knew and yet I feel a little bit more home around you.
Shy kisses, silly jokes and life advices,
It’s the little things which I’ll remember.
Sinking in your arms all I can think about is how,
I wish we could just cheat on the rules and drive away.
Looking at you I want to think you think the same,
In those quiet moments filled with loud thoughts.
I used to say no story can be beautiful without an ending,
Yet I never want ours to end.
