"The Crystal Lake police finally arrived. It felt like forever. I couldn't wait in that canoe any longer than I already had. Debbie, Shelly, Andy, Chilli, Chuck.....all dead. And those bikers...dead. I thought I could face my fears by coming back here but I guess I was wrong. I'll be leaving with even more. And that face... I'll never forget that face. How did he know? Why did he do this?"

Chris was then escorted to the Hospital to have her wounds tended to. From last she saw, Jason Voorhees was dead in the family barn. But when the police got there no body was found. Dead people don't just get up and get on with their day...or do they? The Crystal Lake Curse will continue.

*TWO DAYS LATER*

"I think it'll be fun you two," said Mrs. Jarvis, a shorter woman with a frail face and greyish-blonde hair, "and you never know, you may enjoy this. I know you miss your friends, Tommy... Please, just work with me here. That's all I ask." Tommy, a young boy wearing eyeglasses and having a bowl shaped haircut on his head lays back in the backseat shaking his head to his mothers words.

"Mom, you just don't understand. How far away do we have to live? This is TOO secluded! Does pizza even deliver out here?" Tommy responded with sass.

"Tommy, just suck it up. I don't like it any more than you do but we could end up liking it here... I know that's what Dad would want for us. He only wants us to be happy," muttered Trish, a young woman with beautiful long dark blonde hair and a mature looking face.

The three continued their car ride for a while yet until they finally reached their destination: Crystal Lake. "Wow, this place looks a little less dreadful than I thought it would," Tommy exclaimed, "but I'm not impressed yet." Trish rolled her eyes at that immature comment.

Mrs. Jarvis said, "Very funny. Go on, Tommy. And bring Gordon with you!" Tommy opens up his door and before he could even plant his foot on the ground, Gordon, a rather large dog with light brown fur hops out of the station wagon.

"Gordon, slow down!" Tommy yelled. Within a blink of the eye, Gordon was gone. Tommy chased after him but for nothing. Gordon disappeared into the foggy woods. Tommy looks to the ground in sadness as he feels a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry Tommy, he'll come back when he's hungry. Trish said to comfort him. "Besides, that dog can smell food from one hundred miles away. He'll be back."

"Look at this place! The scenery is even better than I thought it would! Trish, look at this path! As of now, I declare that we're going to jog on this path," Mrs. Jarvis joked. "Real funny, Mom... It's really not too bad of an idea." Trish responded with slight sarcasm.

The three entered the large three story wooden cabin together, as a family, Tommy's eyes still examining the woods that Gordon disappeared in. Trish's light blue eyes widen as she looks at the giant living room of the cabin. "We can finally have breathing space! That apartment was not an ideal way of living." Trish joked.

"I'll second that!" Tommy responded with a slight smirk. "Well, who wanted to live in the city?" Mrs. Jarvis responded with her eyes darted towards Trish and Tommy.

The cabin was dimly lit by the daylight from the windows. The furniture was old but it wasn't ancient. The kitchen looked nice and modern, but not as modern as one in the city. The cabin was almost perfect. It was just missing one thing.

"Light! Finally, I can clearly see what I'm dealing with here," Mrs. Jarvis exclaimed while plugging in a table lamp so she could sort through boxes of decorations. "and this will go great in your room, Trish!" Mrs. Jarvis held up a painting of a tree vacantly in a meadow.

"Mom, that's a little too artsy for my taste, but thank you." Trish picked up two boxes that had her name written on the side and made her way past the living room and down the hallway to the stairs. She took one step onto the staircase when she heard a scream coming from upstairs. Boxes in hand, Trish bolted up the stairs and followed the noise.

She got to the top of the stairs and ran to the room on the left. This was Tommy's room. She ran into the door way only to see Tommy siting on the floor with his back turned to her. "Tommy, what're you doing?" Trish asked.

"Nothing, I'm just messing around with this old action figure I found in one of the boxes." Tommy turned around holding a Bruce Lee action figure. "It screams and everything. I wish the joints were more flexible though. I prefer to be able to move the knees." Tommy fiddled with the action figure in his hands.

"Oh, no," Trish joked, "how will he do his karate now?" Tommy tossed the action figure into a box of knick knacks. "Bruce Lee does kung-fu, Trish.."

Trish then left Tommy to unpack his things and she made her way to the room across the hall, her room. Her room was much more suitable for a teenage girl as it had light blue wallpaper with a flower pattern. "I could get used to this!" Trish let go of the boxes and let them fall on her bed. One of the boxes fell over and a bunch of her belongings flew out onto the bed.

Most of it was just random stuff like pencils or hair elastics but a framed picture also bounced on the bed once or twice. Trish picked up the picture and turned it around to look at it. It was a photo of her and Tommy sitting in a tent surrounded by camping supplies with their father. "Oh dad," she whispered, "I wish you were here with us."
