(This chapter changes POV's)
Josh's POV:
"Sick." I said laughing at her sense of humor. While she was looking down at her feet, I took the advantage of taking her in, her beautiful (h/c) hair was tucked behind her ear, and she had this perfect skin that just seemed to glow. And her eyes, probably the most breathtaking thing about her, were these beautiful (e/c) orbs that seemed to get brighter by the second.
I wonder if she's here for the convention.
Just as the question is about to leave my lips, my back pocket buzzes.
'Ty'
I sigh and answer the phone, "Hey Tyler the what's up?"
"Hey I know it's short notice, but could I ask you a favor?" He asked, sounding like he was freaking out.
"Uh huh" I said glancing over at (y/n)'s bright, (e/c) eyes and putting my hand over the mic "I'll be right back, ok?" She nodded gently and I headed off to a quiet corner to make sure Tyler was ok.
"Hey man, you ok?" I asked concerned.
"Yeah....Not really... I'm supposed to perform at the concert tonight, but my drummer cancelled on me and I was wondering if you'd maybe fill in?" He asks nervously.
"Sure. And dude, relax, it's only for the Hotel guests, it's not like we're playing Madison Square Garden (a/n: that just happened irl ;). )
"Thanks so much, it starts at 9:30, sound check is at 9:20 Since we're playing like 5 songs."
I checked my watch, 9:17
"You weren't kidding when you said short notice", I said laughing.
"Thanks again, see you in a bit."
"Aight, bye." I said making my way back to the gift shop, maybe I could invite (y/n), she seemed like someone who'd enjoy a concert. That and I just wanted to see her again.
Get over yourself Josh, she'd never go for a guy like you. I mean look at her, then look at you. Life just doesn't work that way.
Once I got there, I saw the sweatshirt she was holding strewn over the rack.
And she was nowhere to be found.
"Dammit" I say a little too loudly. Calling over the clerk's attention.
"Sir, do you need anything?" She said calmly, like I hadn't just disrupted her shop.
"Uh....yes actually."
(Y/n) POV:
After we had finished setting Cody up with his room and his roommate Mason, a lanky-ish 17 year old, we headed down the same direction as people already wearing their purple shirts.
After several twists and random turns and staring at the god-awful tacky patterned floor and various light fixtures. We finally reached the conference room. There were about 20 other people in the room in a sea of purple shirts, with the the occasional oddballs that hadn't out theirs on yet. Such as myself. The 'Stage', which just turned out to be a slightly elevated platform, lay empty seeing as it was only 9:27. So I sat there on my phone scrolling through my tumblr feed when I saw 'MCR rumored to break up'
