My life
It was early in the morning, I had already caught myself in a daze. Staring at my bare ceiling down from my well decorated room. I couldn't help to think about Dad either, I miss him so much, the picture of him near me didn't make it any better, I don't know if he's dead or alive, he went to war and we haven't seen him in 3 years. By we I mean Mom and I, we live in a quiet little dead end neighborhood with quiet neighbors and a soft scenery.
"Stephanie!" I hear in the ambience, then again
"Stephanie!" My eyes flutter a little before sitting up,
"Stephanie Alyssa Smith, if you don't get up , you'll be late for school and I'm not driving you" mom says standing in my doorway.
"I'm up, I'm up"
"I can see now, get a move on" she leaves after, it wasn't long before I dragged myself into getting ready for school .
45 minutes later I was already to go for another day at a tyranny based school with kids who have no morals. My head was driven passed all of it though, it's my last year of high school and I made it so far into the middle of the year without being o' so noticeable , or o' so slutful if you catch my drift.
I hugged mom goodbye before leaving , I had a walk to look forward too, which was gunna weigh on my mind heavier than ever. The more important things were going to impact the most, like graduation, college, job, my future is shining enormously for me to grab it , nothing can burn it down.
Reaching the school building, high schoolers all flooded in group by group and I pushed behind getting the scent of the dingy air and short occasional looks from others. I reached my locker already looking about for books and what not. Suddenly someone caught my view...not just someone, it was him, the guy I've had a crush on since freshman year, Andrew Halsey. Tall, athletic, cute , funny but the only downfall is he's a little dim witted but other features like his smile cast more of his beauty. His locker has always been two down next to mine, but he hasn't spoke to me once... Well he did once, sophomore year. I recall it like it was ,yesterday when I didn't notice I dropped my pen and he walked passed me saying... "You dropped something blondie" and we never spoke again. It was a pesky name to call me but he did speak to me, but at that moment my heart sank 10 feet below and my eyes widen with great lust I couldn't help to remember, I never picked up my favorite pen.
In the heat of closing my locker, he appeared to be approaching me, he actually was, all alarms sounded, I was flustered I didn't know what to do, just stand tall and still, I say to myself.
"Hey blondie, "
Oh my god he remembered my alleged nickname!
"Hey, tall guy.."
Tall guy?! Really?!
"Do you have a pen I can borrow?" He grinned.
"Uh, yeah sure, pen for Mr.Andrew the man" I boast handing him a pen, then I realized what the hell is wrong with me ?
This is awkward oh my god abort!
"Thanks blondie" he responds with a charming wink and walks away. The second approach was even deeper, his wink melted me like butter on a hot Sunday , my stars I feel like a little girl inside.
For the rest of the day I was just floating, feeling the best feeling in the world, through class, then lunch, then after school. My walk home was even godly,
Reaching my door I sighed then opened it to the most repugnant , repulsive, vulgar person I ever met... My neighbor Michael Greene.
He stood tall with his brown fluffy hair and grinned deeply,
"Stephanie!"
"Why are you here?" I reply snooty like while shutting the door.
