Mark froze in his spot. Of course she had to be the one to take Sean away. But he was sure she died.
"I thought you were dead" Mark commented. Two robots came to his side and flanked him.
"Ah. I am not, but my mother is. You killed her in cold blood" the Woman signalled the two robots to grab Mark's hands and put restraints on him. He couldn't break them no matter how hard he tugged. The bots pushed him, leading him behind the Woman into the building. He was brought into a place he'd consider charming. A dark room with only a few lights.
"You think we had a choice? She wanted to kill us! And she almost killed all those innocent people"
"Emphasize the almost. She ALMOST killed. But she didn't! And you just think you can rip her apart?"
"And who are you to take over her duty?"
"She would've wanted this. Me to avenge her. And I have, in a way that will be worse than her own death. Trust me when I say it"
"You bitch" Mark pushed against the two robots.
"You don't even know what I'm doing, boy" she spat.
"Don't touch him!" Mark had every idea in his mind, thinking what she might have done to Sean.
"Ah, you caught on! Very good! Boys close the door behind me and unlock his restraints. I'm sure he'll enjoy seeing this" she laughed, backing out of the room. The two bots unlocked the restraints. For a second they didn't have a hold on Mark, it gave him enough time to launch himself forward towards the Woman. He had a hold of her hood before he was yanked back. Mark held onto it, ripping her backwards with him and taking her hood clean off. When her face was shown, He stopped moving. Her familiar blonde hair, blue eyes. Sky. He gasped loudly. She glared at him before brushing herself off and walking out.
"How could you!" Mark yelled as the the two robots tossed him in the ground, leaving him on the ground. Before he could pull himself off the ground, he was locked and alone in the room. It was dark; no source of light, well except his eyes. "Let me out of here you bitch!" Mark ran to the door and began hitting it with all his strength. He hit until his hands hurt. He hit until his mind felt numb. Mark collapsed onto the ground.
His attention was shifted when a source of light was shown behind him. Two figures stood. He could see who they were. Sky and Sean. Sky had her hands on Sean's shoulder. Mark followed her arm with his glare, finding his way up Sean's body. He felt himself sink when he saw Sean with red eyes.
"Enjoy your visit with him" Sky laughed maniacally before shutting the door behind her. Mark waited for a response from Sean, but he did or said nothing. Mark pulled himself up.
"Sean?" Mark called out. He took one timid step forward. Sean frowned. "Sean are you okay?" Mark took one more step up to him. He was only a few feet away in the tiny room. Sean looked confused.
"Who....is......Sean?" The words dawned on Mark soon as Sean spoke them.
"No. No oh god no" Mark closed the gap between them. "Sean it's me. Mark. I'm your husband. Please tell me she's controlling you and she's playing tricks on me. You can't just forget me! We've been through everything together! Sean! Please just answer me! Fight it!" Mark sobbed, grabbing hold of Sean.
"He doesn't know you Mark. Or anyone for that matter" Sky spoke from behind. Mark spun around.
"What do you mean?" He cried.
"I took away his memory chip you moron. An easy remedy to making him my bitch"
"You give it back!" Mark shook with anger.
"Oh no! No no no no no! You get him! A broken bot who won't even remember this conversation! No memory chip, no thinking. He might as well be dead cause he's not in there. Just an empty shell" Mark tried to lunge at her but was stopped by a horrible shock sent through his body. It curled up his limbs, forcing him to the ground. He screamed out. When it stopped, he shook.
"Stop it! Please!" Mark begged through his sobs.
"Beg all you want pretty boy. He's all yours" she left the room once again, leaving Mark with the empty shell of Sean.
"Where am I?" He asked, touching the wall. Mark barely heard him. He was curled up on the ground, trying to pull himself together.
