Alex had left Mark to his thoughts. Even if it were a bad idea. His thoughts seeped through his mind like a stinging poison. Sticking to, and destroying everything in its wake. Although he had been apart from Sean before, this time it felt different. Maybe it was the poisonous thoughts, or the fact they were separated in a way that it was almost not natural. Almost as if his existence was wiped from the world.
Drip. drip. drip; thoughts found another part of his mind, ripping it apart. Taking away what tranquility that was left.
Drip. Drip. Drip; they seeped through his sanity. Leaving it a pile of nothing on the ground.
Drip. Drip. Drip; they sliced through his heart. It felt worse than heart break. Worse than losing a loved one.

Mark stood in a strange place. It was darker than the night. A darkness that would swallow things and never return them. Mark felt frozen in place, or he actually was. He couldn't move. He twisted around, looking each way he could. Two red eyes flashed their lights at Mark. Even if he couldn't see who they belonged to, a pang in the pit of him told who it was. On cue, a light from above lit up, revealing what his suspicions thought. Sean. With a dead look on his face with red eyes. Mark wanted to erase it from his mind. Cast it away in the ocean and have no human to ever be able to recover it.
"No" Mark clamped his eyes shut.
"What's the matter Mark? You don't like my eyes? After all, I can see better with these" Sean made his way to Mark. Sean firmly gripped Mark's chin, pulling it up so he would be facing him directly.
"You're not Sean" Mark stuttered.
"Oh but I am. Every aspect. It's all me" Sean moved his hands down Mark's neck, slithering them down his sides. Mark couldn't move his body anymore despite the efforts to stop this sadistic version of Sean.
"Stop" Mark begged as Sean curled his fingers under Mark's shirt.
"Did you ever think that maybe this isn't a dream? That this is going to be your reality?" Sean backed away, gone into the darkness once again.

"Mark? Wake up" Alex called. Mark's eyes snapped open. He didn't realize he fell asleep on the mattresses. He pulled himself up, replaying the dream in his head. It had crossed his mind that maybe the dream was telling the truth. A horrible truth.
"Sorry I fell asleep" Mark shook his head.
"Don't worry about it, but Matthias really wants to talk to you right now" she pointed back at her golf cart.
"Like right at this instant?" Mark stood up, not wanting to go to Matthias. Alex nodded, getting on the golf cart. Mark followed her, enduring the speed in which Alex sped down the tunnel. He could hear her talking to him, but his mind was on other things. He was worried about how Sam was doing and if Sean was alive.
Matthias was standing outside of the computer room when they got there.
"We got issues" he announced. Mark felt dizzy. Issues? Was it something along the lines 'Sean is dead'
"What? What issues?" Mark rushed to catch up to Matthias. Matthias went into the room, sitting in front of a computer with a blinking red light on a map.
"First, I managed to get the signal as to where he is. But, only for a split second to get the general area. It was blocked out. So I can only assume that the person that has him is not going to play fairly"
"I think that was obvious. Where is he?" Mark demanded.
"Problem number two, he's in the most deserted place in Canada. The tundra." Matthias typed away, popping up a bunch of different screens.
"What is up with people and hiding robots in Canada?" Mark turned to start going.
"I don't know but don't go yet. It's a far way from here. I will fly you up there just outside of the signal radius just incase I get detected. Then you're on your own" Matthias stood. Alex was tucked away in a corner, waiting for Matthias to instruct her to do something.
"That radius could be huge Matthias" Mark argued.
"Alex, pack hydraulic oil. Not promising that this stuff will last" Matthias sped out of the room with Mark trailing him. Mark didn't argue with the fact they were leaving right away. Matthias brought him to his helicopter where two robots were already waiting.
"Sir! Sir I brought the oil!" Alex caught up to them, holding the oil canisters like trophies.
"Good. Get in" the blades began spinning as Matthias jumped in the helicopter. Mark went in and sat in the seat opposite to him. Alex looked like she never been in the helicopter. She was in awe as she chose her seat, which was right next to Mark. It made him uncomfortable, but he kept his mouth shut. It was a matter of time before they went up in the air, heading north
