"Menggay! Andito na yung pizza. Tara na sa--- hey, why are you crying? What's wrong?"
"We can't get married."
"What? Bakit? Nagbago na ba is--- Menggay teka huy san ka pupunta? You can't just say we can't get married sabay lalayasan mo ko. Ano bang nangyari?"
"This always happens! Lagi na lang! Why can't I be happy? Bakit ba allergic ang mundo sa kasiyahan ko? Bawal ba? Ano? Eto na ba yung I can't have my cake and eat it too? Eh paano kung gusto ko na kainin yung cake kasi gutom na gutom na ko? Pinaghirapan ko naman i-bake! Bakit bawal kong kainin!?"
"NICOMAINE!"
"What?! Bakit mo ko sinisigawan!?"
"Please tell me what's wrong. Naguguluhan lang kasi ako. Just tell me kung nagbago ang isip mo. I promise I won't get mad. Liligawan kita all over again if I have to."
"Kausap ko management ko. Apparently I have no-marriage clauses sa ilang endorsement contracts ko. Standard chuchu daw yun for most sponsors. Ewan ko. Pwede naman daw ayusin but it'll take a few weeks to sort things out."
"So you still want to get married to me?"
"MAGWAWALA BA KO KUNG AYAW KO!?"
"Cute mo. Nakakagigil. Halika na, wag ka na magalit. Sandali na lang yung ilang weeks. Ayaw mo nun we can plan for a small wedding? Sa beach tayo. Family and close friends only. No cameras allowed... well except mine of course. We'll have a sunrise wedding kung gusto mo."
"Can I walk barefoot?"
"Basta ba maglalakad ka papunta sakin eh. Kahit anong gusto mo."
"Wouldn't it bring back painful memories for you because of James? I don't want you to feel sad para lang pagbigyan ako."
"It will always be a little sad without James pero I have you and you are more than enough reason to be happy again."
"Hmmm... alam ko na... Richard Reyes Faulkerson Jr., do you take me, Nicomaine Dei Capili Mendoza to be your equal partner, your better half and your one and only Menggay through all the ups and downs, with the promise to support, love and adore each other for the rest of our lives and beyond?"

"Tapos pizza na tayo. Gutom na ko eh."
