dear olivia,

im still thinking about the concert. i remember when they first came around to our city, on their first tour. i took you, managing to get us pretty good seats. the only songs i knew were the ones that'd you always sing to yourself whenever you were concentrating or just bored. i had no knowledge of the band other then the fact that you loved them, and that was more then enough to convince me to buy the tickets. i didn't even watch the band that night, i watched you. i watched you as you sung along to every word with the biggest smile on your face. i remember how your voice would crack as you belted out the words with the rest of the crowd but you'd laugh it off turning to me before resting your head on my arm as your body swayed to the sound that surrounded us. and in that moment, you were the music. not that band. you were the tune that made my heart flutter and kept me going. and ive always wanted to thank you and the beautiful feelings you've brought into my life, more then music could ever do.
