If you've known me
then you know part of my past
I thought I'd never be happy
I'm glad it didn't last
I'm still not super happy
but at least I feel better
Maybe I can start again
Maybe I can live better
I want to be able
to have some fun
I want to be able to face my fears
and not always run
I have an amazing girlfriend
who is always there
It's nice to know that
someone out there cares.
I'd give the world for her
I am not lying
Every night I think of her
I keep on trying
to come up with a way
to be able to see her more often
I want to be happy
That would be awesome.
I have hated some people
but now I realized
that they made me who I am
Now I can see my life
I've been treated unfair
but look at me now
I can't believe
I was able to turn that upside down.
I thought I'd never be content
I guess that changed
You can be happy too
Trust me, there's a way.
I'm still not perfect
I know that for sure
But I'm better than before
I am more mature.
I thank my friends
who believed that I could change
Now I'll be there for anyone
who comes my way.
