Chapter 9: "Wait, what?."

Maria's POV

Everything went so fast, kissing him felt... Right. He took me by surprise, but It was just, wow.

"Niall, I don't want to go in there." I whispered.

"I could always tell him to leave."

"No, I-I want to know why is he here. Can you wait for me outside? Please don't leave." I said hugging him.

I need to know why he's here, he can't leave without an explanation. The worst part it's that he's at Danielle's room... Alone with her.

I need to get in there, I need to talk to him.

"I'm going inside, I really need to talk to him" I said while pecking him on the cheek.

As I entered to the room I saw Matthew holding Danielle's hand... What's going on here? What is he doing? Why he's touching her?

I try to move but I start feeling the pain again, then I remembered I'm not healed at all.

"What are you doing here?" I asked while looking at him in the eyes.

I was angry, really angry, since the day he left me.

I'm full of emotions right now, it wouldn't surprise me if I did something stupid.

"I heard you had an accident... With Dani and Andrea... We might not be friends but they still are, and I still care about you. I know you won't believe me."

What?! He has to be joking. He can't be serious, after all he's telling me he cares.

No way I'm believing this bullshit.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me Matthew, I don't think-"

"Maria, please hear what I have to say, I still care about you, you were my first love, always have, always be..."

"Oh please, cut the bullshit, I don't want to know why you're here, just get out!"

"Just give me a chance to explain... Please" he begged, his light brown eyes filled with guilt.

I used to fall for them, but not anymore.

"Oh hell no. Why should I give you a chance?, after all you have done you still think you can come to my life again, show here and pretend that everything will go back to "normal"? You fucking left me!! How do you think I was?! I was devastated. I really loved you, and for you, I was just a toy. I don't care what you have to say, go back to Ana and tell her how you feel, because I don't give a shit about it. Now get out before I call security!"

I didn't notice I was crying until I felt a tear fall from my face... All this mixed emotions, I can't hold them anymore I need to let them all out...

"I still love you." Wait, what?

He started walking to the door as I followed him, I just need Niall to be here to support me.

I want to be in his arms right now, I want him to tell me everything's going to be alright...

Niall's POV

She entered the room... What was going to happen there? What if she still loves him and goes back to him.

No... Don't think that Niall. I can't loose her, not now. I need her.

I can't hear what are they talking about, hope he doesn't hurt her or I'll beat him until he dies, he has done a lot to her, he can't hurt her anymore.

I start hearing voices, well must like screams...

"Oh hell no. Why should I give you a chance?, after all you have done you still think you can come to my life again, show here and pretend that everything will go back to "normal"? You fucking left me!! How do you think I was?! I was devastated. I really loved you, and for you, I was just a toy. I hear her voice cracking... She's crying.

Wish I could go inside and hold her, hug her.

I want to be there for her when this ends.

I hear the door opening and I back off, I don't want them to know that I was listening.

The door finally opened and the fucking bastard came out, I think his name is Matthew, I don't care. Bastard.

Then, I heard him say the words that made me want to beat the shit out of him...

"I still love you." and with that he turned around and start walking to the exit door.

I immediately ran to her, holding her tight.

She left out a huge sigh, I don't think she was conscious of holding it.

She started sobbing on my chest.

I don't like seeing her that way, I don't like watch her broke. Even tho we've been together for a short time, I've developed a new emotion for her, I gotta say, provably love.

Yes... I'm falling for her, I can't deny it.

"Hey, it's going to be ok. Calm down."

"I can't Niall, he came to fuck everything up! Everything was going so fine without him, I was starting to forget about everything he did and-and, oh my god. I'm such a mess. I'm sorry," she said while whipping her tears off of her face.

"Why don't we go back to your room? You need some rest."

"I don't want to, just let me see her, at least one minute, it won't last that much."

"Nope, sorry boo, you really need to rest."

"But I haven't seen her," she said doing her puppy face, don't fall for that Horan.

"I promise we'll come back tomorrow, you need some rest."

"But Niall!"

"Stop doing that face! You're killing me." I said looking away, I won't fall for her face. Stay strong Niall.

"I hate you."

"No you don't, let's go. Tomorrow that's the first thing we are doing when you wake up." I said kissing her cheek. "I promise."

"Fine."
