Hannah's POV
The wind flowing through my silver fur coat always feels amazing. Running through the woods is always my favorite thing to do, especially in my wolf form.
Yes, I am a werewolf. No, I haven't found my mate. I hope in the next few weeks I find him. I haven't been looking forward to the 2nd month of my 18th year of life. If I don't find my mate, well, I'm screwed. My birthday is tomorrow and I'm turning 18.
My best friends, Megan, Alyssa, and Amanda have decided to throw me a birthday party. They have all found their mates. Their mates, Calum (Megan), Luke (Alyssa), and Michael (Amanda) would most likely be coming. I'll be lonely once again.
I long for him sometimes. I sometimes have dreams of this wolf boy with a light brown fur coat that would go on runs with me. I assume he is my mate.
I then get home from the run and run inside to my room. I change back to my human form and change clothes. It's almost midnight so I might as well go to sleep.
I landed on my pillow and was out like a light.
*Next Morning*
"Shhh.."
"You're going to wake her up!"
"Isn't that the point?"
I chuckled to myself and opened my eyes. they weren't looking at me and saw my 3 best friends standing in front of my beds bickering at eachother.
"Morning guys." I smiled and stretched. "Up for a run?"
"NO!" they all said simultaneously.
I growled. "Why not?"
"We have to get you ready!" Megan jumped up and down.
"What time is it?" I shot my head towards my alarm clock. it read 2:45.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU GUYS WAKE ME UP SOONER!?!?" I screamed.
"Chill. we decided since it's your birthday we decided not to wake up up." Lyssa shrugged.
"Ok. whatever. What are you all gonna make me wear?" I asked, not looking forward to it.
Mandie (Amanda) brought the dress from around her back. My eyes popped out of my head. the dress was strapless and would hug my bust perfectly and it ended just above my knee. the perfect length.
"Oh. My. God!" I ripped it out of her hands. they all smiled.
"We'll let you put it on, but we are doing your hair and make-up." Mandie said as they skipped out of my room. this may not be that bad after all.
