Frankie's POV
me:Max...I...I can't
Max:Why not? I like you,you like me...what's wrong?
Me:I just can't Max,I'm not ready for a relationship yet
Max:You know what just,just forget it,forget that I even asked you to the dance,just go home Frankie
Me:Max I-
Max:i gotta go
And with that he ran...I run home and when I got there I ran into my room and cried my eyes out,I don't know why,I'm crying,I never cry...well except that time that my dad left us

-Flashback-
Dad:Frankie,listen to daddy okay?
I nod my head yes and listen to what he has to say
Dad:Daddy loves you okay? Don't ever forget that,look out for your mom and sister while I'm gone okay sweetie?
-he kisses my forehead grabs his backpack and opens the door he takes one last look at me-
Dad:I love you Frankie,I'll be back,I promise baby girl
And then he leaves
-Flashback over-
I was only five when that happened,my dad got married to another woman and they have two kids now,brothers,thinking about how my dad looked at me made me cry more
Tomika:Frankie?
Me:Tomika
I run up to her and hug her and since I'm short I hug her waist
Tomika:What's wrong?
Me:Max asked me to be his girlfriend and I turned him down and now he's mad at me
Tomika led me to my bed and we sat down,I cried in Tomika's shoulder,Tomika can walk now and her arm is fully healed
Tomika:I know that's not the only thing you're thinking about,what's wrong?
Me:I just remembered what my dad told me before he left me,Taylor and mom
Tomika:What did he say?
I told Tomika everything and I started to cry more,she let me cry into her shoulder
Tomika:You wanna sleep with me and Zack tonight?
I nod my head yes,Tomika let me sleep in her and Zack's bed for tonight,I don't wanna go to school tomorrow...
