Zack's POV
It was 12:45 in the morning and Summer's calling?seriously?
Me:Hello?
Summer:Zack,you need to come over here quick,Tomika's had a nightmare and she's having trouble breathing
Me:On my way
I hang up and get my hoodie,I ran to Summer's house since it wasn't that far from mine,I knock on Summer's door and she opens it,I see Tomika wrapped around a blanket rocking back and forth on the couch,I go up to her a get down on one knee so that I can see her face
Me:Tomika,calm down I'm here now,take deep breaths,in,out,in,out
She starts to calm down
Me:Now tell me what's wrong?
Tomika:T-t-there's a-a mu-mu-murder in t-th-the h-ho-house
Summer:okay now I'm scared
Summer goes next to Tomika and she hugs her and Tomika hugs her back,I turn on the lights upstairs and looked in the rooms no one was in there
Me:no one is in your house except for you guys and well I'm here right now so yeah me too,how about we stay at my place if you guys want to that is
Summer:Yeah I think it's okay,let me just get our stuff
Summer goes upstairs to get the things they need,I look at Tomika,she's still not calm yet,I mean she's calm but Just a bit
Summer:Done,let's go
Me:Okay
I pick up Tomika bridal style,mostly because I wanted to and because she's still not that calm yet
Once we got into my house I put Tomika on my bed,by the time we got to my house she fell asleep in my arms,summer stayed downstairs for a bit,when I put Tomika down she started to wake up again,I was about to walk downstairs but then I heard her
Tomika:Zack?
Me:I'm here
I walk up to my bed and Tomika started crying
Me:Tomika what's wrong?
Tomika:Zack,my parents want me to stay away from you...
Me:What why?
Tomika:i-I don't know
